In order to use the VIN Reader you have to connect to a Bluetooth-enabled device to show the user all electronic modules containing a vehicle identification number (VIN).
The mobile application has several features: The user has the ability to see a full history of all vehicles scanned as well as generate a report that can be sent via email or any other messaging app installed on the smartphone. Customers can even add a photo to the scan report so that vehicle identification is made easier.
The Abrites VIN Reader looks for the VIN numbers read in a vehicle in a European stolen vehicles database. Should there be a positive match, the application returns the make, model, license plate and when and where the vehicle in question has been stolen.
We work continuously to improve the VinReader experience.
