What's New in Version 1.6
- Minor bugs fixed
- Minor improvements
Enjoyable, with issues
If you don't mind the Game-Bimbo, you will enjoy this builder, as I do. It's worth the fiver they ask for the iPad download.
Don't pretend you haven't rolled your eyes at the Game-Bimbo already, children: yes, you have. She's the "Advisor" you do not need, whose anatomically absurd form appears squeezed into a spandex "business suit" on every dialog. The game gods try to make it palatable by drawing glasses on it, which, I suppose, must transform it into a feminine business-person role model in their eyes. Yep, most games do the same. Whatcha gonna do. Well, downgrade them from a five-star rating to a two for promoting misogynistic idiocy in the public domain, that's what.
I like playing this game. It's a supply chain puzzle with risk management elements like fire and health control. Not very deep, but then I am seeking portable diversion: Not Too Involved is probably better on the train. You may not build over things in this version, and may delete only one tile's unwanted contents at a time. A tad clunky.
More frustrating is the inability to schedule transport between more than two points (except for trash pickup). I naturally wish one truck to delivered recycled waste to as many industry buildings as use it. I would prefer being challenged by the logistics puzzle to being engaged in an icon-tapping race.
Largest difficulty is getting past the Game-Bimbo. Good Luck!
I love this game, though it could use a few fixes. In VC2, you don't have to destroy before you build (forests, etc), but in this one you do. It can be very cumbersome to pinpoint a build, then have to flip back and forth to clear before you can build. Also, there are times that the "range" building (bus depot, tech station, etc) will not show the area affected when you place them...it can be annoying! Otherwise, it is an addictive and challenging game once you get past the first several levels, which are mostly tutorials. Well worth buying.
Very addictive and fun!
It's a fantastic game. The interface is user-friendly and the gameplay itself is interesting and simplistic. However, the game could use a few more things, in sandbox mode I should be able to set a certain route for the trucks, buses and dumpsters. It would be neat if I could set speed limits on different roads, it would be interesting if we could put traffic lights on the roads and set a timing system for them, and we should be allowed to send products to neighboring towns. Lastly the garage space should be increased. But the game is very fun. I highly recommend it!
