*Whoa! You made us #1 in Simulation! Thanks, we love you people!*
A note from the developer:
Hi, and thanks for taking a look at Virtual Families 2! We have been working on it for quite a while, and we’re very happy to be able to finally share this new chapter with everyone.
Before you skip down to the bullet points and screenshots, let me say a few quick words about this game, and life simulations in general: I love life simulation games. I have always been passionate about designing them, and almost everything that comes out of Last Day of Work is a life sim of some kind. This one, in particular, thrills me so much because it is designed to have a life of its own: unpredictable and so different each time I play it, and each time another player plays it. I love that the story unfolds differently for everyone who plays it, and your experience with the game might be wildly different from your friends’ experience.
Designing this type of game, however, has its own special challenges. The main challenge is that EVERYTHING in life is a great idea to add to a game like this. There are SO many great ideas, and we simply cannot put them all in at launch. So, while I hope the game captivates you as much as it does us, there will inevitably be things that you feel are missing and you would love to see added (tell us!).
We plan to update the content in this game. We want to add pets, hidden puzzles, more storyline, more events, tons of new things to buy, and the list goes on and on. We will also continue to tune and deepen all the game's inner workings that control happiness, health, and everything else. While the game has been balanced to be playable for free and without purchasing anything, we hope that you will find something compelling enough in the game to give us support so that we can continue to create fun new updates.
Enjoy Virtual Families 2! Please visit our Facebook page and our forums to give your own amazing ideas and suggestions, and don’t forget to check in on your little family or they will get very sad. :)
With sincere gratitude,
Lead Designer, Last Day of Work

Ratings and Reviews
I love this game so much! I’ve been playing for around 3 1/2 years and can’t get enough. I’ve renovated and fully furnished the whole house and have had, like, a billion generations and currently have 200,000+ coins (and have never bought any with real money). However, I do wish there was more for elders to do. Each generation I have/adopt six children, and after they leave adults are home alone working and making money which can get boring. Also, like many other people, change the names! I have an uncommon name and I think it’s cool to have a variety, but seriously, WiFi, Coffee, and Zebra?!? And the three year olds will get rainbow hair while their parents are redheads. I wish that once you’ve completed the house, you can buy another one in the neighborhood. Lastly, I want more normal jobs! Currently, I have a Donut Decorator and an envelope stuffer. I do really like that there are so many decorating options and you can change your people’s outfits. Speaking of outfits, there’s no in between. For girls, you can either get an old lady dress and make them look like a grandmother going to a museum, or a teenager wearing a crop top looking like she’s going to some party. If your looking for a good game to pass time, this is a great option!
Great & All, But...
I’ve had this game for roughly 5 years - It’s great, in my opinion! But a few things I think need to be adjusted. 1: The game RARELY has an update - It can be kinda boring without adding a few new things. 2: Diversity! I know, it’s a traditional game, but why aren’t there different races?! It’s so much fun to change it up a bit, but the options are strictly limited. 3: Maybe in an update add it to where you can go on the street and maybe meet new kids? The kids don’t get any social interaction besides their siblings and parents - It would just be nice to have the ability to meet new people without making it the people that live in the house. 4: Can genetics have an influence? Say a mom with brown hair & green eyes marries a dad with brown hair & blue eyes - Why did the baby pop out with multi-colored hair and brown eyes?! Genetics need to take effect just a little! 5: I love that they added office, kitchen, workshop & bathroom upgrades, but can we PLEASE have the ability to change the green & blue bedrooms to NORMAL colors?! I’m so sick of having that hideous green bedroom and that baby blue bedroom, an ability to update those would be appreciated! 6: Overall, great game, I have played it and completed the house many times. Just needs a little work on a few things. Thank you for considering this!
Great but Please read!!!
I love this game so much, but I have a couple suggestions. First, I had so many generations, that when I wanted to start a new one it deleted my first generation, which is the most important part! Second, honestly I don't understand the names at all. I would really like if you could choose the name for the baby when it's born and also make it look like the parents. Also please make another update soon because there hasn't been an update in a while. I have been playing this game for like 3 years and there hasn't been 1 update like come on now you've got to be kidding me. Also another thing is, not everyone gets married on dating websites like why can't they actually go out and meet other people? Maybe you could unlock another family when you hit a certain generation and keep expanding the neighborhood so they can actually meet people. It would also bc great if there could be a school and they could actually go to work. Please consider some of my suggestions because I know a lot of other people writing these reviews think the same. And also I'm getting mad because there are no updates at all and there are tons of suggestions so please please please actually look at some of them and try to improve the game. Thanks other wise though. Great game overall.
