Customer Reviews

Missing a Crucial Feature

So this app is very convenient , yet at times frustrating. My main review is about the "lack of highlighted pending charges in the Activity section." This is just standard to any banking app and yet this is missing it. I hope that this feature gets added in the near feature. It kinda annoying have to click each and every transaction to see what is pending and what is not; in other words I wouldn’t call the user friendly.

As for others complaints:
The App works perfectly fine, and I use Final and Beta iOS’s. Majority of the issues stem from individuals own lack of understanding of how to use there device. If you have to many apps running in the background it will drain the available ram making it slow. If you have the pnc app or any app open for elongated periods of time say a week, it can trigger a software bug which is resolved by quitting the app completely and reopening to resolve any issues quickly. More prominent issues need an app to quit and then restart your iPhone. I Hope that helps any frustrated users. I’d also advise in taken the time to learn about technology before you go an complain about it; it really only defines you character.

Don't waste your time with this app. I was encouraged to use it for digital banking when I went in to a PNC bank and opened my account. First off it always tells me that I have no "Virtual Wallet" account and I have to wait until this terrible app stops having memory loss to log in to my own bank account and check my info. And the money bar idea is trash, you literally slide a bar deciding how much money you want to move from your checking to savings, and after you slide it it asks you to type in the amount that you'd like transferred 😑 Absolutely pointless feature. Overall I hate this app. I'm going to get the regular PNC bank app and hope that works a little better 🙄

Caused me to leave PNC

This app and PNCs banking system is NOT connected. Virtual wallet would say that I had a certain balance. Then the next day it would say I was overdrawn. After calling pnc they would say that I've been overdrawn based on a transaction that Virtual wallet would say cleared just fine days before the overdrawn notice. I would let it slide mainly because they would agree to take the fees off. This has been over a course of 5 years that I've had the bank. It didn't happen all the time but when it did it was annoying. The last time this happened they acted as though it's the customer's fault. Their app is suppose to make things easier not worse. I ended my account with them.
