VisionMail is free for the first 10 days. After the trial, service is as low as $2.66/mo with no service contract.
VisionMail works with all major carriers including Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile. Some carriers such as MetroPCS, Cricket and US Cellular charge a fee to set up call forwarding, check with them for details. Unfortunately, pre-paid plans such as Virgin, Flex-pay and family mobile do not support call forwarding.

Back end Failures
I was trying to decide between a competitor company I used to use & Vision Mail. After over a year of using VisionMail I am going back to them. #1 Whenever my 6 months plus 2 months free is up, and I fail to immediately renew, intermittent callers will get a recording that the number is no longer in service!!! Or my phone won't ring at all & show no record that it was ever dialed. This is happening cuz I'm supposed to know the instant the subscription needs renewal & if I don't renew instantly I am supposed to disable VisionMail & if I don't, this is the punishment you get. Furthermore, while you are in this in between state trying to decide when to do the renewal, or source the money, you, the customer, will be unable to access the list of messages already on the app. I paid for those. I should never be denied seeing them but you are, you are blocked from seeing them until you renew. Now I can still see those messages from the competitor app even though I canceled them, as long as I keep the app on my phone. Let's see if the same goes for VisionMail.
Won't fix errors
I paid for 6 months & app locked up on 6splus. I followed directions, added 1 month, but lost 6 month subscription! Buyer beware!
