ViSOAR by ViSUS: Gigapixel Image Viewer
Welcome to our gigapixel 2D image viewer. This application requires an internet connection to load data.
Imagine being able to see a histopathology slide all the way down to the individual cells, or explore a vast image of a nebula or the Milky Way Galaxy. Perhaps you want to zoom into a panorama of the city of Paris and then zoom into read the license plate on the back of a car, all in the same image, interactively.
Images are stored in using ViSUS' raw data format enabling efficient, streaming pipelines that process the information while in movement. This technology enables real-time management of large datasets on a variety of systems ranging from desktops and laptop computers to portable devices such as iPhones/iPads. ViSUS has been deployed in a variety of large data applications such as the monitoring of large scientific simulations and the editing of massive images and panoramas.
ViSOAR allows users to browse a range of gigapixel images, with the ability to add annotations (polylines, polygons, measurements lines, text, images) as well as on the fly interactive image processing operations such as brightness, contrast, hue and saturation adjustment.
