improvement to an already good app
I really like the new interface and find it much quicker to get to all the things I am after. A really good update.
While the order of the modules on the dashboard is fine, I think one cool addition would be the ability to drag those in any order you want. Because maybe someone wants the video to be the top and doesn't have locks so that could be moved to the bottom.
So far the only thing I find slightly annoying is the scroll effect on the "no entry delay" option when arming the system. Since it scrolls the buttons used to arm the system you have to wait for that animation to finish before you hit the button to arm. Not the end of the world, but if that was moved to the bottom or the animation was removed you wouldn't have to chase the buttons when arming the system.

I've used the Vivint mobile app for IPhone for more than two years and have always been well pleased with the responsiveness in controlling locks and arming and disarming. This new updated version totally fails to live up to that. I try to remotely unlock my door and it takes at least 5 times longer to respond, if at all. Also try to arm/disarm from my bedroom since I don't have a keypad in there and more times than not I have to go to the panel to manually do this. I've tried closing, reopening, rebooting my phone--nothing helps. And nothing else has changed other than I received this upgrade. Please fix! This is a key feature for me of my Vivint system and I'm nearing the end if a 36 month contract. May look elsewhere for another system if this doesn't get resolved.
I have to agree with others regarding this App. The panel and my mobile devices never match, making it impossible to know what security status is. When we are on vacation, or away for a few days we have house sitters and don't totally like to rely on them with alarm settings. It is impossible to see the correct alarm status with this App and we don't receive updates when we attempt to set the alarm with a mobile device. Customer service states it is not their problem and that they can't help. It was even stated to me that it is an iPhone problem, that they are always behind the ball with problems with Apps. This is a Vivint App, right? They tout the Apps abilities using an iPhone, even though it doesn't work as advertised. Very disappointed!
