This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
One big slider bar to control the system volume limit. Easy.
Do you have a child who always plays video at full blast? You no longer will have to tell them to turn the volume down or do it for them, because when you set the max volume this app will restrict the volume on your ipad / iphone to the level you set. You also can pin protect the volume control with this app so they can't change it themselves.
Fantastic App when parenting kids with Autism Spectrum, Asperger, Down Syndrome & other development delays or sensory issues - Many parents and family of kids with special needs have been extremely happy with the results to what this app has done for the sanity around their homes or at school.
** Important things to know due to technical limitations **
· If the app stops working please check other apps that are open. It sometimes will stop working if there is a lot of other apps open at the same time.
· The App must stay open in the background to work, if your child can close the app he/she can stop it. This makes it best for toddler or younger kids.
· When your device goes into low power or dies, you may have to 'wake up' the app
· Currently there is no control over bluetooth
Happy parents just like you:
Best App Ever??

I cannot believe iOS devices aren't delivered with this feature! I have two small kids who are determined to listen to everything at full volume sans headphones. This app is a godsend, will gladly launch daily until an update is available (hint hint)
Best app ever

My sanity has been saved. Having a disabled child that gets a lot of joy from playing on the iPad, taking it away is not an option. This app saved out family from the constant battle over volume control. Well worth the price.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You should charge $10 for this. Way undervalued.
As of now, works perfectly!

Just downloaded this so I will hold my breathe but so far it works as advertised and I can't explain how much I love it. My daughter likes to play movies on Netflix full blast for no reason and it drives me crazy! So grateful for this app!
Thank you and thank you...

I have twins, so you get two thank yous from me! I haven't had this app for long, but it is working great so far. I will gladly relaunch it every day, or even twice or three times a day if necessary to keep my volume-sanity! Did I say thank you yet??

This app is awesome! My son has autism and he is always turning up the volume on his iPad. I'm always scared he will blow out the speakers. With this app I'm able to set a limit on the volume and now I don't have to worry he will break his iPad speakers. THANK YOU -THANK YOU -THANK YOU!

Easiest and quickest solution to limiting to volume. We set it to 30% and that's where it stays ; )

What's New in Version 1.11
Added feedback survey to improve application, as well as a new background music button to test the current volume level.
I wish I knew about this 2 years ago
This app is a life saver. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. As the father of an autistic boy who raises the volume of his iPod touch to the maximum when he is watching movies, this app has helped us immensely. I understand the concerns that the child only needs to close the app for it to stop working, but to prevent him from doing this, my solution is to place the iPod on "Guided Access". This allows him to use only one app ( the television app) to watch his movies. You can find this in General>Accessibility>Guided Access. Once you activate this on an app, that is the only app the person can use until you deactivate it. Therefore he can not turn off the Volume Sanity app which keeps working in the background.
Worth the price! Does limit the volume most of the time.
App works well. I have found no other app that can limit the volume on my autistic son's IPad 2. Really works well, most of the time. On occasions, it does seem like the volume limit goes away (I think if there's a lot of active apps on the ipad, the app seems to not enforce the volume limit -- but I have not been able to reproduce this limitation reliably to report.) But just go back to the Volume Sanity app screen, and things are restored. Of course if your child knows how do delete the app's active instance, then there's no longer a volume limit. Overall, I am very happy with the app and wish that I had found about it earlier.
The Best Solution Every!!!
My son is autistic and the first thing he does is turn the volume all the way up. I have to always turn it down if we're in public or just company is over at the house. I'm glad that this app give me the control to have a set volume through out the whole tablet and not just one thing for it to stay set on. Plus it has a Pin Protector so your little one can't change the settings that you set. Great App and highly recommended for children.
