Do you remember the Digi-Devices of the 90's? VPET is a welcomed throw back to a forgotten era.

Just like these devices you'll need to raise, care, train, clean and feed your VPET so it can grow into even stronger creatures.

- Start out with one VPET to Evolve (In-App Purchase more)
- Feed and train your VPET so it can get stronger!
- Use the battle system which allows 2 VPETS to battle over Bluetooth

As the VPET grows it will evolve according to how the player has treated it. From this emerge even stronger, more enduring and more powerful VPETS.

The app was created to provide a retro simulation of the classic digital monsters gameplay but it is NOT Digimon and is NOT licensed/endorsed by Bandai. All the virtual pets appearing in VPET Gen1 Free were created by Overdose Media.

Some info.

If u don't remember these toys search " Digital Monster (virtual pet) " into Wikipedia. To pause your game: Go to settings on your main page, at the bottom there will be settings for individual games, select vpet gen1free, then select enable pause.

Vpet gen2 has an easy to use pause button. I highly recommend both gens of vpets. Hatchi is also decent. 99 cents is more than fair for these vpets. Original digimon are very collectible and expensive. This is nearly the same experience for less than a dollar.

1. If u read my tamagotchi review, it's true, but the part about the notifications is EVEN MORE true to this

So I was playing with my vpet for a long time trying to make it happy, then the second I x'ed-out a notification pops up saying my vpet is hungry or weak after I just fed it and trained it for an hour!!!!!

2. Colors

Please fix the colors it's so dark and dull, maybe there should be a choice
(Anyone who thinks this too should send out a review about this) i know that I'm someone who likes bright neon colors, and maybe the color of the environment will change the way it evolves

3. Games?

There should seriously be more games that you can do with your vpet. I mean is training REALLY all there is? U can at least think of something creative or even more food choices for that matter!

I could go on for a few more numbers to get my points through but I'll stop here.
PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty cool but always dies at "4 years" of age

I restarted this thing 3 times now and every time it had died for no reason at 4 years old before it evolves to the next form - it goes to bed poo swept and nicely fed with the light off and can't be up for more than 40 minutes before I take a look at it... Seems like a pretty rough glitch (all combinations of care mistakes, etc. must not be accounted for and causing it to blow up)

Other than that pretty sweet and nostalgic :)
