I've been using the Vuezone APP for several years now. I have never had a problem controlling the cameras or viewing my installed cameras (4). On the occasional loss of video from any unit it's a simple matter of resetting the base station via the APP. Resetting the base station has never failed to restore functionality to the system. I like the ability to control all the cameras, multiples or individually via the APP. I am able to, view my videos, save, and or, review. The only "con" so far has been that once a battery is "low" (one bar) the multi-view feature will fail to cycle through the cameras. Not a real problem. Now that ARLO is available I have been considering switching but the functionality of the Vuezone system has been fool-proof and I am hesitant to switch. That and the cost is doubled for more than the basic plan. Batteries are not a problem with the Vuezone system but they seem to be an issue with ARLO. Vuezone is best as a monitoring and an alert system. 640p (320p) is just to poor a quality for much more. I use the Vuezone system as an alert for me and as a supplement to my HD continuous hard-wired system. All that said, the APP is fine for both my iPad and or my iPhone.
Beware! When I logged in to one of my camera's after installation, it was showing the inside of another person's private residence. I am not kidding. I have no neighors where I live, so it is a problem with their site. Tech support called me back immediately and I spent a considerable amount of time dealing with one nightmare after another returning that specific camera to them and to return my system to Staples. They offered me nothing in return for my effort. It was a disaster from the start. So be advised: if your camera is oriented inside your home somewhere, someone could be viewing it, even if it is only accidentally like me. This is a major problem customers needs to know about it. If they would have offered me something(other than a Sarbucks giftcard) I would not have posted this.
I spoke to some techie friends and they freaked out and told me it is a huge problem.

Dear God, how does this company stay in business? I have tried several times to renew my Premium Vuezone plan and keep getting the following message when I do: "changing service plans from Premier Annual (VZVP3001) to Premier Annual (VZVP3001) is not supported" As you can see “VZVP3001" and “VZVP3001" are EXACTLY THE SAME THING!! I'm not changing anything - just trying to renew! Are you deliberately chasing customers away? NetGear customer “support” is useless. Calling puts you in a “press the button” maze that has no topic for my problem. “Live Chat” goes unanswered. And trying to email them through the website doesn’t send anything anywhere. Unbelievable. If I was having a technical problem I would give them a minus 5 star rating! As it is, they just won’t be getting my $50.
