Ratings and Reviews
I live in infinity hall were washlava was used at University of Florida. I like that the app lets you know when your clothes are done because people ended up getting there clothes quicker! Also the lights on the machines look cool lol
Wash lava has always been a little more exciting to use. Their machines were always nice, clean and sleek. They made laundry a little more fun to use and I appreciated the convenience the app offered!
A Company That Forces People To Use Their App
I have just recently moved into a residence hall on the campus of the University of Florida. Prior to this new residence hall, the previous ones I have lived in housed washers and driers that could be operated by students via credit card or quarters, all except this hall. Low and behold, the laundry machines within this residence hall can only be operated via the "Washlava application". As a IPhone 4 user my latest IOS is 7.1.2. As this is a very new application, within the store there are no older versions to download, as a result the application requires an IOS of 9.0 to use. As a result of a lacking credit card slot or coin slot in the Washlava's machines, I am not able to wash my clothes within my residence hall. It is not a good company practice to assume all users have access to devices that can install and run your application, you must accommodate to the "what if" situations by having machines operated via credit card or coin. As of now, I guess I will have to shower with my clothes on as their are no other suitable options to wash my clothes.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
