Great Idea. Love It!
Easy installation. Once you find location to place antennae (you should not have to move it from this location), the app assist in finding a location for the antennae and it will walk you through the rest of the setup process. If you have an outdoor antennae in place, it will allow you to connect it to the device. The ability to record programs is a nice addition. The app is working as well with no major issues. Great idea. Love it!
Downloaded the app and set up account. I changed the password and can login with internet browser. Went to login with app. Says email and password incorrect. Yes I checked
about 10 times. Antenna useless without app. Then used different email new account same result. Is there a negative star.
Some revisions. Set up another account with a different email. Same result. I can login with internet browse (safari) but can not login with app. Say mismatch of email and password. Awaiting response from developer via email. No phone number. If cannot get app to just load will be returning antenna for refund.
One of the best free OTA TV Solutions
With the amplified OTA antenna and bundled Ruku App and iPhone App, I turned my dump laser projector into a smart TV power house, not only Netflix etc, but also free OTA HDTV for all the major networks for free (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, PBS etc) and can use the iPhone app to watch live TV and schedule recording as well.
Recommend a few improvement:
Fix buffering issue which cause the screen to hang while watch a TV channel
Support 1080P and 4K resolution streaming from Antenna module to Roku+
Support recording of TV series such as PDS news and label each recording by date. Currently once you record two or three of the same shows such as PBS news for different dates, it all shows the same icon/thumbnail
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
