WatchAir TV 4+

Great concept poorly executed. Hardware seems good but software buggy and unsupported. When it works I love it but this is not usually the case. No updates available and no responses from support, I fear the company is no longer is business or best case scenario on its way out. Currently able to watch and record some shows but it no longer recognizes my microSD card. No ability to restart or refresh from app which no longer seems compatible with latest versions of iOS. Might be worth picking one up found in the garbage or being sold cheap on OfferUp.

This device worked just ok for a little while. It will sometimes kick you off the WiFi and then cannot reconnect. I have not been able to get rid of my other antenna due to the common failure of this device. Recently, it seems after the apple software update, the app crashes before you can login. It almost seems as thought the company has stopped supporting the product. I looked at the app updates and it says the LAST UPDATE was 8 months ago! I mean really? The only customer service is via email which is annoying and quite frankly useless. I would say that this product, with a little more R&D, could have been a great device. The implementation and release of it seems as though it was rushed and the bugs were not figured out prior to full product release which I’m sure is do to finances. Would not recommend at this time. I will be cautiously optimistic about it’s future and will reassess at some point.

Easy installation. Once you find location to place antennae (you should not have to move it from this location), the app assist in finding a location for the antennae and it will walk you through the rest of the setup process. If you have an outdoor antennae in place, it will allow you to connect it to the device. The ability to record programs is a nice addition. The app is working as well with no major issues. Great idea. Love it!
