Customer Reviews

Excellent app

I could be picky about there being a bug or two from time to time, but for me star ratings are about comparing products, services, etc.

When comparing the WatchESPN app to any other sports watching apps that I have used, and I have used just about all of them, this app has way more content and has way less technical issues. Let's put it this way... if I need to be away from home and can't get in front of a tv for whatever reason and my team is playing, then I'm always hopeful that they are going to be on one of the espn networks. I had to watch Texas-OU on the fox sports go app and it was an awful experience. The app did not even show the firs half of the game.

It should only get better moving forward, and I would recommend downloading and using the watchESPN app to any sports fan.

Good but buggy

I love this app in the sense that I can watch games on the go however ever since I first downloaded it many months ago there's been nothing but bugs. After 10 minutes or so of game time action it starts to lag out & go back to the beginning of the video & repeat what was just shown all over again. The video will get ahead of the commentary so the two won't match up. Therefore I often, sometimes as often as every 3 to 5 minutes will have to shut the app and start over from scratch often missing very important moments in a tight game. You would think that after many months of customer reviews and complaints that these issues would have been fixed by now but either they don't care or no one is reading them

Freeze! Crash! Can't play video :(

This app should be improved after months of user reviews letting developers know the bugs that need fixing, but it's 2017 and same old, same old. Every time I use the app to replay a tennis match, the error "Cannot play video" inevitably appears when I move the bar to advance the video or accidentally escape from the video. I have to completely close the app and start over from the beginning of the video. Otherwise, the video freezes, the app crashes and I have to close the app and re-open it. Why do we have to endure this antiquated app for another year? What is new in 2017? I can't play any replay videos for the Australian Open.
