Easy way to track & encourage hydration
After seeing this app recommended in a Sunday newspaper magazine I gave it a try. It has really been a great and mostly easy way to record what I drink. It's also helped me drink more water because I can see at a quick glance how much more to my goal. It wasn't long before I upgraded to the full paid version. Being able to add & delete various size 'glasses' & label them is fantastic. Only 2 things kept me from giving this a 5-star review; 1. Not being able to add a picture of my customized 'glasses' which would be fantastic because the oz. typeface is a bit tiny for me to see easily & a picture would be so much easier, & 2. It's supposed to be compatible with Fitbit, but even though it said it was connected for over a month it was erratic in if it would update/sync my water intake on the Fitbit app
I see some people complaining about messages being asked to buy up to the app. But this is to be expected when you get something for free. This app in three weeks has already done so much for me. I am drinking twice as much as I used to, dieting has been so much easier, and I get a sense of achievement at the end of the day when I drink all my water. It's such a simple thing, but very powerful and useful. I've been telling my friends about it, which I rarely do for an app. Update 3 months later - still using free app and still 5 stars. I've lost 30 lbs, and as I'm 50 I've tried for years. It simply helps me drink way more water and has been one key component in me eating less. Thank you!
Serious Support for Hydration
I decided that I was obviously not meeting my (informal) hydration goals. Waterlogged was suggested as a good method of keeping hydrated and meeting my goals. And it actually works for me.
Setting goals and reminder alarms is easy and inputting your consumption is super easy. All you need to do is click on a picture of the container you drank from (mug, sports bottle, juice glass, etc) and the app records the associated volume of liquid in oz or ml -- and it keeps your water consumption separate from your other drinks.
You can also easily (I'm using that word a lot!) add pictures and volumes of your personal containers -- like my Alice In Wonderland 14oz. mug. After two weeks I still like it -- in spite of having to urinate a lot more...
