What's New in Version 1.9.59
Useful but could Stand for Improvements
I suggest this app, not because it is essential but because it has a reinforcing quality. I have often wanted to drink the suggested 4 bottles of water a day but failed to fully accomplish it due to poor motivation and lazy self-monitoring. For me as someone who throughly enjoys crossing things off a to-do list, this app provides that brief appeasement with each record of a bottle I have drunk.
Handy features would include the timeline of your water intake over chosen segments of time and being able to add your own type of water container, should you have one of a varying size.
The appearance isn't too cluttered to where it could become annoying, although it is a little boring and could do with some slight revamping.
If you use a badge app icon for the app, it will show the numbers of ounces you have left to drink for the rest of the day, which it does not provide IN the app.
Overall, as a tool to keep yourself accountable this is something I would recommend. Depending on how you motivate yourself or what you enjoy, crossing off ounces can be rewarding and help you remember what you've drunk for the day.
Great for tracking water
I have always wanted to drink more water but would usually forget about it as I go through my busy day. A higher water intake is also suppose to be great for losing or maintaining a healthy weight. This app is great because every time I finish my thermos of water, I go into the app and add it and see how much I have left to go and it motivates me. Before this app I went from 0-10 oz of water an average day (when I wasn't focused on it).. Now I average at least 50 oz naturally and I would love to increase that even more :). It's well organized and easy to use.. Definitely recommend.
I'm glad I found this app
I'm in the midst of a weight loss journey and I use this app to motivate me. I mainly use keep me on track to complete my water goals and to track my water intake. I've always had issues completing the 8 cups a day because I'd forget or neglect it. This app makes me eager to fill up the bottle graphic in the app just so I can feel accomplished. I know it sounds silly but it worked for me and with drinking the right amount of water and eating healthy I've lost 22 lbs in a month.
