Great, but...

First off, I love Wattpad, and I love the app, as well. For me, easy to navigate. But I have a problem with a few things. I'll start with the problems I have when writing chapters. One, when I use italics, bold, etc. in a work, it doesn't save when I preview and/or publish it. At all; it's just normal text. That's not too bad, sure. Now, when you're editing a sentence or whatever, and you want to select a single word (in or out of punctuation--it doesn't matter), the up and down scrolling of the chapter is too squirrelly; it's just too fast and unpredictable. It's hard to do so when you're screen is flying up and down your work. Now, on to the library feature. I love it, without a doubt. It's a great feature; I love the privacy of it. But it would be nice to organize certain books into a folder of a sort. (Like having a playlist for a certain band in your music; but with a genre in a folder, for example.) This would make navigating a library easier, especially if you have a lot of books in it (I personally don't, as I'm somewhat new, but I'm sure a lot of people do). It would be neater and cleaner. Other than the problems I stated, it have no problem with using the Wattpad app; it's great, probably one of my favorites. 👍

Love it but...

I love wattpad a ton, I think that the interface is great, the lay-out is appealing to the eyes and the collection of stories is fantastic.
Here are something about wattpad that I don't love as much...
Sometimes I experience that when I go offline, my library is not available for me to read. I was under the impression that my library was available offline. I find this annoying, and hope to understand why this happens.
Another thing is that I tried to sign up for the beta wattpad app on iOS. Sadly wattpad has never gotten back to me. I don't know if their service is slow, or that they don't check often, but I very much wish to help wattpad improve. (Hence this review)
I dislike the start-up of wattpad. I would prefer to see my library, rather than my notifications. Another thing I wish to access easily is the story info. I find that it is an inconvenience to get to story information after it is in library. Clicking on the author and searching that way is time consuming depending on how many stories the author has published.
Another thing that bothers me is that they constantly ask for reviews. I get it, I understand that they want people to review their stuff, but honestly, I wish that it would stop showing up after I say that I wish to not review. I do not say this to bash, but it seems a bit pathetic how many times it has popped up on my screen.
I hope that wattpad sees this review and considers what I have said.

It's alright.

I've been with wattpad and the app for about 3 years now, and I have to say, it's been through a lot of changes. Some for the best and some for the worst.

For example, the archive was a great addition to the app, just what I was asking for for the longest time. But lately, especially with the latest layout, it'll show that annoying blue screen at the end of a completed book, and won't let me archive it, making me have to go back to my library and archive it myself.

And it might just be bugging out, and I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but if I sort my library to "recently updated", multiple books that have been updated won't move from their spots and not show up at the top where I want them. This is inconvenient and annoying.

Honestly, I just miss the really old wattpad where you could change the color of the page and the text to fun colors like pink and blue and green. Where you could scroll AND swipe and not have to worry about going through some intricate process to change it and then not liking it. I miss the little scroll bar on the side of your screen that moved to the bottom in a later update, but it still showed up at the bottom of the screen after you tapped out of the menu thing where you could exit. Like yes, the new updates are very pleasing visually, but they're annoying to use. I just miss being excited to be on wattpad. Everything now just makes it annoying and impractical.
