Good concept bad execution

Havin same problem as everyone else the music doesn't work At all does this game even have it's own it told me song ended in freestyle so all the colors and shapes were boring and nonreactive cuz it was quiet couldn't tell much of a difference between modes they all felt the same looked the same and also the tutorial lacks alot like how to change views like the screen shot advertised it's a solid shooter but boring if ur own or even the games music doesn't work it's quiet I just play my own music in background but it has no effect or connection to the game so get it if it's free and u have the space but I'm going to get my 30megs back and delete

So I nabbed this thinking the drive mode and enemies that came out relating to your music looked cool...

With the drive move, you tilt your device back and forth for about 5 seconds, and you can't dodge any of the unshootable orange razor blade circles... and the music doesn't really make a difference. I played with a classical song, a drum and bass song, ambient, industrial, idm, techno, metal, alternative... all of them gave me pretty much the same exact gameplay. Slow in the beginning, building into harder. The enemies also did not come out or follow anything close to the music...

The graphics are like Geofighter, and the other vector shooters that are in the appstore, and the FX sound very similar to them as well. I use to think that any shmup added to the appstore would be a good thing, but now I really don't think like that. It's games like this that make Cave games even more special though... so I guess I can't hate it too much.

If you're looking for a shooter with randomly generated levels, pick up Phoenix, at least you get more randomized enemies... not some game that uses cheesy gimmicks to make money.

A very good game!

I haven't had the issue of the freestyle not working, but I notice my songs don't really change or sync up with the play style. Some are too long and the freestyle ends before the song does(Without me losing all my lives) or it's too short and I have to end early. Also, a glitchy screen appears at times, dunno what's up with that.

Despite those things, though, this is an AWESOME game and I would recommend it to everyone who likes these kinds of games. :D
