What's New in Version 4.4.4
- Bug Fixes
Works with Time Machine, with one issue
I got the Wireless Plus because I can backup my Mac with Time Machine and access the files with my iPhone using this app. It works up until there are many many backups, then I need to reformat the drive and backup fresh, or else the app won't see the files any more.
One other issue I found is if I download something, like a film, from my TM backup to the app, then delete it, the app doesn't actually delete it. The app still takes up the same space on the phone as if the film was not deleted. Similar to my TM backup I need to delete and redownload this app every once in a while as a result.
I recently started using a WD passport wireless with WD my cloud and its proved very useful! I no longer have a normal computer to manage my photos with and this combination has successfully replaced the need for one. I am able to easily backup and access all of my camera photos and download them to my phone for sharing. The only major annoyance with the app is that it is slow to show thumbnails for photos. Because of this I normally just view the original image but this is also slow because of the file size. All-in-all though this is a great app.
This is a must for mycloud users
I love this app for mycloud hard drive. I really hope they allow a button to choose which way to find a picture; just stating if I could arrange pictures by date I could find them much faster. Also would be nice to choose which view I get when looking at inventory of pictures; thumbnail, full pics, so you could see them easier.
