“WeatherMin is a nifty app that’s very “Apple”: It’s elegant and minimalist, but it’s quite useful for those who just want to keep an eye on the weather. And in my testing, it used very little memory and processor resources—something that can’t be said about many of the other weather apps I’ve used.” - Macworld.com
Please note that the current version of WeatherMin uses a data provider which only supports US locations. International support is coming soon in the next free update!

Love what it does, but just a bit too simple
I've been using it for a while, and I absolutely love putting it's info directly on the desktop, without a "window".
I love the weather "icon-like" indicator that shows when it is going to rain, but that is only available without the days High & Low weather indicators. I wish there was a way of putting High & Low with something to say "Its going to rain today", but you can't do both. If it did that, I would give it 5 stars. After all, it might reach 75-80 degrees in So. Cal, but still rain in the same day. If you live in a part of the world where it is either warm, or it rains, maybe that is not a big feature for you.
Lastly, it took a while to figure out how to disable Notifications, which I found useless. It would notifiy me constantly, as the weather went from "Cloudy" to "Partly Cloudy", to "Some Clouds", etc. 20-30 notifications in a day, and changing the nofication setting, both in Growl and Notification Center did nothing to stop it until I discovered the application's preferences overide Growl and Notification's setting. Very annoying…
Still, well worth the price, although I've lost all hope for any changes in the application to enhance it.
simple, elegant weather
after trying out a bunch of desktop weather apps this was the most unintrusive and elegantly designed one that i found. it has a lot of little nice design touches, one of my favorites being that the desktop widget will lay itself out differently depending on where on the screen it is dragged to (if it's on the left side, the text will be left aligned and as you drag it to the right side of the screen the text will switch to be right aligned). highly recommend!
great start, would like more customization
this app does what a lot apps say they will, but don't. I just wish I could customize things more; I have it installed on a desktop computer, so I don't really need to know my location (if I end up in a new town with this computer, it's because I moved, or drank wayyyy too much last night). Be nice if we could interchange whether to show location, weather via icon or text, high/low, etc.
