Great for races with multiple distance

We organize several trail running races each year, and offer multiple distances on each event - e.g. 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon and Marathon. Number of racers can vary from 150 to 450. We've tried all types of timing systems over the last several years, and none could offer us the flexibility we needed to start racers in waves or when racers want to switch distances mid-race or to get results on time for the awards ceremony, per distance and per caregory.

Highly recommend for any race director with multi-distance, multi-category, multi-start events - dealing with that complexity is done particularly well with this app.

Update: with the 2.0 release we can use chip-timing for our bigger events which will be nice...

Very flexible and convenient

I time a few races a year and i know a few other race organizers who have used this app. The features cover just about every situation. With the latest version it is even easier to edit the results to fix errors made during the race.

It is pretty easy train a volunteer to do the timing. The training videos on the web site explain the basics. A short practice session with a pretend race, and then they are ready!

I have been using the app for the last couple of months for our enduro series. We’re using multiple devices and combining the data via Bluetooth to get instant results by overall and by category. Easy, although it’s a good idea to practice before the event. Our riders love it. We’re also using a results series, to combine the times from each of our events.
