What's New

Version 3.0.0

Visual chip start
- Applies when “Chip start time = On"
- Racer boxes switch color as chip is detected at start
- After specified timeout, racers whose chip was not detected get race start time
- Chip start times are editable via the “Fast-tap view"
- Works in mass starts & wave starts

More flexible merge start list
- Applies when updating a previously downloaded start list
- Handy in races where online check-in continues while other waves are already racing
- Racers downloaded without bib (or chip ID) will initially be marked as DNS
- Once updated on website, “Merge start list” will undo DNS and add racer’s bib and chip IDs

New lap control option
- Applies to races where there’s no racer check-in
- The start list may have lots of racers not racing
- After all racers have a recorded lap, the rest are likely DNS
- This option marks all racers with no laps as DNS

Great for races with multiple distance

TrailRunner62

We organize several trail running races each year, and offer multiple distances on each event - 5K, 10Mile, Half-Marathon and Marathon. Number of racers can vary from 100 to 400. We've tried all types of timing systems over the last several years, and none could offer us the flexibility we needed to start racers in waves or when racers want to switch distances mid-race or to get results on time for the awards ceremony.

Awesome!

I have been using the app for the last couple of months for our enduro series. We’re using multiple devices and combining the data via Bluetooth to get instant results by overall and by category. Easy, although it’s a good idea to practice before the event. Our riders love it. We’re also using a results series, to combine the times from each of our events.

Very flexible and convenient

bflyracer

I time a few races a year and i know a few other race organizers who have used this app. The features cover just about every situation.

It is pretty easy train a volunteer to do the timing. The training videos on the web site explain the basics. I recommend doing a practice session with a pretend race to prepare them
