What's New in Version 1.9.3
We are ecstatic to be releasing 1.9 today for Mac. This version comes with a bunch of improvements and bug fixes but more importantly for those who have gotten Pro features on iOS you have: Themes and Time Estimating. We have up to 10 themes you can choose from, all of them hand crafted and beautiful - we'll be adding more! The second is Time Estimating which allows you to add time estimates to tasks and organize your tasks by how long you think they will take. Both of these are pro features that you can get for FREE for up to 3 months on iOS. To unlock these features please use our iOS app and upgrade to Pro!

[+] Time Estimating (Pro) - Keep track of how long a task will take and plan accordingly. You can also filter by how long tasks will take. (Unlock-able via iOS only)

Great
Awesome being able to use it cross-platform
Tried almost everything, this one really is incredible
I’ve tried Wunderlist, Todoist, Asana, Any.Do, Cozi, Trello, and I just hated having 2-3, different to-do list apps for everything in my life (work, personal, family). This is the first one where I can just work on everything with anyone. Sure it doesn’t have crazy features that Asana does, but it has more than Wunderlist, and is incredible easy to use. Plus, it’s free. Love it, and recommend it to anyone looking for any type of to-do list app. Keeps getting better and better every app.

THEMES AND TIME ESTIMATING ROCK! Thank you for listening!!!!!
Not there yet, but still excellent, and has a high potential.
If you’re a basic task user, this app will be phenomenal for you. Especially, with the latest features. However, if you’re like me, and looking for a future Wunderlist replacement, it’s not up to par, yet. Here’s why:
- NO OFFLINE USE. Therefore, useless when not connected, and affects other things when connection is poor.
- Too slow on startup and freezes often if internet connectivity isn’t great. The code should be altered so the app just opens and lets us use it while it attempts to connect in the background. It currently makes us wait at the useless opening screen until AFTER it connects fully. NOT COOL. Wunderlist is way better in this regard.
- No copy/duplicate lists.
- Can’t select multiple tasks at once.
- No folders, yet.
- Can’t choose the order you want to add your tasks. It’s defaulted to add tasks to the top of the list, but I prefer to add them to the bottom, or switch back and forth depending on what kind of list I’m building at the time, as most professionals probably will. In it’s current iteration, I have to add my tasks, then reverse their order one-by-one, which is a royal pain in the A.
- Bug: Color for your Home group is not changeable, and for some reason wasn’t the same on my Mac and iPhone. On my Mac, it’s green. On my iPhone, it’s brown. What’s that about?
- iPhone app has frozen up on me a handful of times in the week that I’ve been a user.
Those are some of the limitations and complaints I have that I’m sure they can add or correct in future updates, and I look forward to it. In fact, I’ve seen that most of what I’ve listed as Negatives are already being planned for future updates.
POSITIVES for me would be:
- The EASE OF USE and EXCELLENT AESTHETIC to this app are better than most. For example, it does go full screen. Unlike, ToDoist.
- The HABITS feature is a very welcome addition not available in most other task lists.
- The incorporated SERVICES feature can become an extremely huge and useful thing that could blow the competition out of the water.
- THEMES are nice. Not currently customizable, but nice.
- They have an ACTIVE USER COMMUNITY who are reporting bugs and feature requests and the team DOES LISTEN AND RESPOND!
In sum, the potential for something truly above the rest is there. The team just needs to correct the flaws, remember that this is a to-do list and add the most useful features for that, specifically, and don’t mess it up. I have a feeling I will be changing my review to FIVE STARS in the future!!!
