Total Relaxation

I love this app!! I've been listening to it for about
a week now, I also listen to the self-esteem, exercise, anti-anxiety & really like them all but I think this one is my favorite. Even when I don't feel like doing all the instructions I turn the voice volume all the way down & just listen to the music. It is so relaxing to me! I find myself picturing my "true self" even without being told to do so. I have been EXTREMELY stressed out at work for the past few months & have been struggling with getting a good nights sleep, when I listen to this I temporarily forget about all the stress from work and truly relax. I fall sound asleep, even with the awakening feature on!! Although I don't think that I'm actually being hypnotized & go into some trance where I could be made to click like a chicken, it does help me relax. It's filled with positive affirmations, uplifting background music & I find that even the sound of the woman's voice is kind of soothing! Even if you don't need to lose weight but want to relax I recommend trying one of their many other amazing apps!

Don't get me wrong, this app is great. But I just feel like I can't relax for some reason. I've only ever fallen into trance once or twice while listening. It may just be me, but trust me, I'm by myself, usually in a dark room, and laying down on my bed when I listen, so it's not because of my environment. Also, it can be bothersome to listen sometimes. It's the same thing that I've heard many times over. Perhaps you could make some more recordings, like 5 in all with different voices (but the same words) so that I could have something subtly new to listen to. I think it would help motivate me to listen.

Pros: Very relaxing! I found that after listening the first time, I went from not eating enough because I was too stressed about losing weight to eat, to eating about 1,200 calories a day (before it was 700-1,000), and eating healthy things like cauliflower, salad, and more fruits as well as vegetables. I ate a lot less peanut butter and chocolate. The only problem is, as stated before, I've been finding it harder to go into trance, so it hasn't been as beneficial recently. For example, I've been eating more snack foods and going back to stressing about eating and having horrible self esteem.

But overall, this app is wonderful! It's not a scary hypnosis session, it's more like a "relaxing" session. It's all about being relaxed! I was skeptical at first, but there's nothing shady about it!! Download it!!


I downloaded this a few days ago and have listened to it a handful of times. I was really curious the first time I listened so I did not fall asleep. But I have fallen asleep almost every time since then. It is really weird. I do not feel different in mind but somehow I have not been obsessing over dieting and food choice to the point where thinking of food constantly and how I shouldn't want it just makes me miserable and more hungry. No. Yesterday I had oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, a protein bar for snack, a salad for lunch, banana for snack and baked chicken breast for dinner with a side of rice. I was not hungry at any point. And for dinner my fiancé made my plate up with way too large portions and I simply ate only half of the contents on the plate. You know how hard that is! The leftovers are going to be great on my salad today! So maybe she is helping my stress maybe it is something else. Possibly this is helping?
