With this functionality, the Weight Watchers Mobile app has the ability to access your total fat, carbohydrates, fiber and protein intake from the Health app, as well as track your steps throughout the day. We use that information in order to calculate the PointsPlus values of meals and activities.

Fix a Few Bugs & Make Modifications
This app is designed with good intentions and is very useful. That's the good part. There is room for improvement. First, the main categories vary in ease of use. Some are arranged randomly and others are alphabetical. It would be helpful to have everything alphabetical. When moving into a category, i.e. restaurants, once one leaves a specific restaurant, you have to go back and fight again if you wish to add something else you'd forgotten doing the same tracking episode. Second, there is no way to edit a "created"food once it is created. Some of us still believe there are Calories (and therefore points) in fruits & vegetables and prefer to track them (after all, nothing in life is really free!!). Perhaps a way to modify WW listings for these food items that list most fruits & vegetables zero is in order (e.g. a banana was originally two points but there's no way to modify the listing from 0 to 2. Finally, there should be a way to tap on a frequently used food from a previous day and copy it to use on the current day.
Good program, not so good app!
I love the weight watchers program but this app is sadly lacking. There are many apps on the market that are more complete and user friendly. If I were strictly an on line WW member..... Well I wouldn't be. My biggest gripes follow. As mentioned in other reviews there's no way to edit created foods once they are created. There is no recipe builder in the app! It drives me crazy that I have to go to my free Lose it app to create my recipes before I can convert them to points with this app. The scanner data base is sadly lacking. It seems to not recognize many store brands, which again other apps do. In recently added foods there is an intermittent glitch which will not allow you to put in more than one food at a time. It tell you you have no internet connection when this is not the case. While I don't expect the entire website content in the app what is accessible is not terribly useful. I'd prefer a better scanner and a recipe builder over a few recommended recipes and a handful of success stories. If I want that I'll go to the web site.
Great Program, annoying app.
It's convenient, but slow. The app on my phone often won't update and can be as much as three days behind. It also constantly tells me I don't have any favorites or recently saved items from previous days. At the same time the app on my iPad won't let me add a new favorite because "my favorites list is full". However, there doesn't seem to be a screen to edit or delete favorites on the mobile or iPad app.
Healthy checks should work separately and linked to the food items/quantities so you don't have to add that information twice.
It would be easier to check off routines on the same food entry screen or have a link to that on the food screen so you don't have to return to the menu.
