Lots of great features

This app has improved greatly over the years. I just figured out how to delete a food item I tracked by mistake. I think there still needs to be improvements in editing, though. I would like to see being able to change the date of your tracked item. I often put a food item in the wrong date because I'm catching up on the previous day. As far as I can tell, you have to delete the item and then go to the correct date and put the item in again. I would also like to be able to hold and move it from evening to morning, for example, if I accidentally put it in the wrong hour.

I have been able to see huge improvements in the search feature, which is quite nice. It finds the food I'm looking for better and it remembers previous searches, making common searches much easier and faster. And it seems that it is finding a lot more scanned items too, than the older versions.

I like being able to pull up recipes to use while I make them. I don't use many of the other features though, but there are a lot of pluses, should you ever need them.

Used to count points on paper

This is my first time using the online app, after having been away from weight watchers for about 12 years. So I am used to counting points the paper away. I really like the ease of being able to search for a food, as well as a specific brand or restaurant. The only restaurant I really tried has been Starbucks, but I'm looking forward to trying this when eating out. I used to be really good at counting the points in my recipes, so I am also looking forward to using this app to determine the points value in my cookbooks. I don't see any way to keep track of how much water, fruits and vegetables, and milk products I am eating each day. I've only been to one meeting, so I'm sure I'll learn more soon. The scanner is completely awesome! I would love to see some way of being able to keep track of favorite menus, through the calendar system on their app. This way I could go back in time to find menu ideas for the week that worked well, and use them again. Otherwise, I was shut down to keeping track of points on paper, which is my main motivation for going back to meetings this time. So this app is a God – send!

Fix a Few Bugs & Make Modifications

This app is designed with good intentions and is very useful. That's the good part. There is room for improvement. First, the main categories vary in ease of use. Some are arranged randomly and others are alphabetical. It would be helpful to have everything alphabetical. When moving into a category, i.e. restaurants, once one leaves a specific restaurant, you have to go back and fight again if you wish to add something else you'd forgotten doing the same tracking episode. Second, there is no way to edit a "created"food once it is created. Some of us still believe there are Calories (and therefore points) in fruits & vegetables and prefer to track them (after all, nothing in life is really free!!). Perhaps a way to modify WW listings for these food items that list most fruits & vegetables zero is in order (e.g. a banana was originally two points but there's no way to modify the listing from 0 to 2. Finally, there should be a way to tap on a frequently used food from a previous day and copy it to use on the current day.
