Enjoy using this app

I was on the fence about using this app for a long time. I finally did it because I got a really good deal with Reese subscribing. It's very nice to have all of my information in one place. I used to write things down in separate places, and then try and put it altogether. My phone is with me constantly, so I don't have to do that anymore. I haven't used every feature of this yet, but it's nice to have all of my foods that I've had in one place. I do think that the foods database could be better, but I realize that Maintaining something like that with all the changing products out there is a large undertaking. Having said that, having all of my items in one place that I can look at quickly really helps keep me accountable.
I like how they give you recipes and the points values for them. That helps two when you're trying to find things. The search feature in their works really well. I also like that they give you a pointsplus calculator That you can get to quickly, if you want to look up something right away. It works in a pinch, and you don't have to carry an extra piece of equipment.
Overall, I really appreciate the app.

Oops! Issues with units of measure!!

You may have "fixed" something, but that fix has broken others... Bad testing! WARNING - units of measure (serving units, e.g. Tbsp, ounces, cups, pounds, etc.) have changed on several items - can affect your points calculations if you go back and look at previously logged item it will potentially change the points because the old serving unit of measure has disappeared. One example is All Whites liquid egg whites no longer has tbsp and if you had previously used 6 tbsp (the one-serving size), you get defaulted to cup as the unit (first list item) and it recalculates to 11 points. You have to go back and re -figure your serving size to get the right points - figure out what 6 tbsp is in fraction of a cup. Only options are cup, oz, and pounds - go figure!!!

Other than that, haven't yet discovered anything positive about this release.

WW still hasn't figured out how to integrate with popular fitness apps - still living back in the early 2000's with "Wii" - and they still haven't done updating to give more mobile controls of some aspects of their tools.

I just hope they fix this new unit of measure bug that seems to have been introduced with the last release. It's a humdinger!

Good App but room for improvement

The app makes me stick with my diet while I do all my business travel. Love the reminders and barcode scanning capability! Without this app I would not be successful.

As great as the app is it does have some room for improvement. On my wish list for my iPhone app would be:
1. Ability to create a recipe from scratch, save it and count the points in my tracker.
2. The restaurant section needs to be updated more frequently to reflect menu changes. Especially seasonal menu changes. I look for items and often they are not listed so I have to guess the points value.
3. When I select the restaurant app remember the last one I had opened. Chances are I'm going to eat more than one item at a restaurant especially if I'm building a sandwich at subway.
4. Would like to see Icons on my tracking page that allow me to check off the waters I drink. I often forget to go to the section for water, milk, etc... I would track more efficiently if it was on one screen.
5. The ability to research recipes from the recipe database not just the featured recipes.
