Great App

I love this weight watchers! This app is the key for its ease of use for me! I've lost 25 lbs and kept it off for a year! Super easy to use! It has a recipe builder in it now, which I he's all the time! It also tells you which foods are the super foods! I like that! I use the app multiple times daily so I'm very familiar with its faults as well -- The annoying things are that I eat dinner early (like 4-5) and when I enter my evening food it wants to make it my midday meal (because it's before 6). I can't change the time of the evening meal default so I have to manually select "evening" every time. Also annoying is that I have to click three places to enter activity. In an older version it would automatically recognize that "elliptical" is activity, not food! It's also annoying that when I go on vacation (and off plan) and get push notifications telling me to track what I've eaten. I should just shut that feature off though so it's my own fault. And the barcode reader is really unresponsive sometimes.

Extremely helpful

Update: I love the we app. I've been using the WW app for 3.5 months, after I tried it out for 2 wks on my daughter's account (to see if I could be honest!). I've lost 22 lbs, just keeping track with the points. I travel a lot, and this has really helped me hold the line on intake while I'm away. In conjunction, I've been using a digital scale to easily help measure quantities. It's been really interesting to note what foods are high in points and what aren't. I glut myself on fruit (would probably be losing faster than 1.5 lbs per week average if I didn't indulge so much), which satisfies my cravings to cram stuff into my mouth. It can be hairy when the updates come through, because the app probably won't work as well until they get the bugs out of the update. At this point, I have no desire to go on without the app. It's the perfect amount of 'nudge', and perfectly private. App and digital scale: that's my recommendation.

Very Useful, increases tracking accessibility

This app is not without its glitches; however, it does a good job of making tracking accessible wherever & whenever it is needed. Having the ability to take a picture right from the tracker is a nice enhancement. I like that a few other of the Weight Watchers apps have been built into this one, like the barcode scanner, so that my screen doesn't get junked up with icons. I would like to see the notes section accessible in the mobile app, which it is not currently. I also seem to lose my quick adds and favorite foods whenever there is an update to the software. I noticed favorite foods can be accessed in this version by going through the tracker and selecting the favorites option, which makes it less user friendly than the desktop version where favorites will populate as options when a food search is done. Overall, this product is worth the few glitches.
