MAJOR glitch (cheat?)

So I began the game, and in the very first scene of the game (front gates of the park, car on the right), I absentmindedly clicked on the huge ladybug on the top right corner of the screen. I open up the journal and every single page for the entire game is there. Before I’ve collected the clues. Maybe you might see this as a huge cheat or help, but for me it just interrupts the gameplay and spoils the fun. Plus, I clicked the ladybug like 6 times — to test and make sure that’s what caused the glitch — and now there’s like 200+ pages in the journal! It’s now impossible to navigate the journal for pratical purposes.

Another drawback to this is that at the usual points where the you (the detective) would make observations for your (the player’s) benefit and then record it in the journal, you say nothing because in theory you already took note of those things. Which means you have to constantly look in the journal to make sure you didn’t miss anything that you should have caught before. HUGE hassle.

Won’t Buy It

As others have noted, there is a major glitch with the journal, that seems to compound every time I go back to the game. While it doesn’t prevent game play, it makes the whole experience annoying. Until the glitch is fixed, I won’t be purchaing this particular game.

The story line could use a bit of help as well. Like many of Alawar Entertainment games, this one relies too heavily on using and reusing the hidden object screens.

On the plus side, the graphics are excellent, and the puzzles with the free version are interesting. It has the same look and feel of the other Weird Park game and should prove to be fun once the glitch is fixed.

Glitchy but good

Great story line, but the notebook stopped updating a quarter of the way through. There were some clues I couldn’t go back to look at so I had to use an online walk through for the first time ever on one of these games. Also, the voices kept hanging or playing too softly so I couldn’t understand it. However, the game itself was really fun. It had excellent graphics and really fun little events.
