Great banking app
Honestly, I've never had a problem with this app. I check balances frequently, transfer money, deposit checks, and pay friends through the app. It's always worked for me using my iPhone. I would prefer the mobile check deposit feature had a higher deposit limit, but I can understand why banks have the limit.
One of my favorite features is that I can pay my friends and family using this app. All I need is their email address and/or mobile number. They can even be with Bank of America and it goes through. I've used this feature quite a few times and it worked flawlessly.
'Amount does not Match' on 80% of the Mobile deposits.
I can not recommend this App until Wells Fargo can sort out the 'Amount does not Match' error that happens on 80% of the mobile deposits. Time and time again I will try the mobile deposit and time and time again it tells me the 'Amount does not match' after taking the photo. This has been a systemic problem with this App from the first day it offered mobile deposits and it has yet to be fully solved. Some updates have improved the problem but recent updates have made mobile deposit completely unusable. If they are going to offer this service then Wells Fargo should address the issues and support the app. Nothing is more frustrating then offering a service that does not work. Get your act together Wells Fargo or I’ll take my money to a bank that does!
Good start, very useful
For viewing balances and transactions, paying bills, and transferring funds, the app has been working fine for me.
Also, having to make bill payments one at a time is a little weak. I'm sure a better mobile bill pay UI could be managed with any effort. But all in all, the whole app appears as if to be just a basic browser shell displaying mobile web page content.
Otherwise, my only other complaint is that the menu moves ridiculously slow. Sure, it's pretty and a nice bit of work by the developers, but it's mostly annoying and noticeably impedes usability.
