Tired of giving chances
I have uninstalled, reinstalled, tried again, come back later long enough. :-( Problem #1: This app is "unavailable" more often than it is available, lately. Problem #2: the app doesn't always give accurate available balances, which resulted in my daughter being overdrawn. When I WENT IN TO THE BANK BRANCH, I was told that they, in the branch, had to call online and they would notify me of the response later the following day. What they notified me was that for the first time since the electronic age, my daughter's expenditures and posts were not immediately reflective in the available balance and that they would all post after the weekend. What?!This has not ever happened to us before and we have brought our account down to PENNIES before. That should not impact what they TELL YOU (electronically) is your available balance. Then they said that I have to call online banking. All because some things happened within my use of the app and my daughter's debit card use.
On my last three attempts to uninstall and reinstall the app, now it won't reinstall! Maybe it is doing me a favor. :-/ I am very frustrated with the unreliability of the app.
Strike three for Wells Fargo
Mobile deposits are impossible for our users, app will not open camera on our iPhone 6S+ devices. Tried to fix this problem for three months, tried everything, no fix in sight. This symptom is strike three for us. I'm a rapid turnaround CEO and a management consultant. When a company lets you down in a significant way three times in a row, count on that behavior continuing far into the future. Read all the reviews about the problems with this app and with customer service not helping people resolve their problems using this app for months. Strike one. Read the news about the scandal re: unwanted account creation and unwarranted fees with customers. Strike two. Finally, WF Board of Directors replaced the ineffective CEO with the current WF President who was himself a part of the problems. Strike three. Management at all upper levels of this company has a serious problem IMO. I sense a systemic culture issue, so are moving our accounts elsewhere. I recommend you do the same.
I gave it one star because I have to give it something
Other banks on their apps have had replace my card feature for years and then I logged on today and noticed WF finally had that feature so I decide to try it out what could possibly go wrong well my bank card is now frozen I got on the phone with customer service they couldn't even replace my card and then I was told I would be transferred to a bank branch after spending about 10 minutes on the phone with customer service it rings once and then straight to a busy signal this is ridiculous apps are supposed to make your life easier not freeze out your Bank card and I can't even get anybody on the phone moral of the story is fix your app and bank in general or I'm going to change banks
