Fix your app


Keep attempting to create an account using email because I want NOTHING to do with Facebook but each time it accepts my information and directs me to "confirm" my email by logging into my email account and opening the email and following the links. Problem is, the email NEVER comes! I keep checking it, I keep checking the spam and NOTHING. So I figure maybe I made a mistake and miss-typed the email so I try again. Still nothing. Then I thought that maybe their system is down so I'll try again later. Three days later I reenter all of the information and still nothing. Tried again this morning (a full week later) on my tablet instead of my phone and NOTHING. Seriously, you don't even have a link that says "resend confirmation email" which basically EVERY OTHER app that requires this has. Obviously, you have some work to do. When I try just hitting that I already have an account and entering my information it tells me that I haven't confirmed my email yet. Well I'm happy to. SEND ME THE STUPID EMAIL!

So good so far


Here’s the thing, I saw this app advertised online so I thought I’d try it. Ive been using the McDonald’s app for about a year now. I actually prefer Wendy’s food, but McDonald’s deals are just WAY too good. They have new deal every week and they never run out. I mean any sandwich for a buck!? Totally free fries!? Yea I’m gonna have to take advantage of that. I’d Wendy’s can compete I’ll keep using this app. So far there’s only a few deals and they haven’t updated. Taco Bell did that with their app years ago and never had a new deal again. Guess whew that app is now? Yup, in the garbage. Let’s hope this one doesn’t see the same fate.

Cumbersome user interface


I don’t leave critiques often but with this app I have to say I’m disappointed that the interface has several frustrating elements that make setting up a profile and favorites too time consuming. There are parts where you can’t tell if your favorites are saved. Some other activities as well. Much like the interactive order boards in the local stores (I’m here in Dublin by your HQ) there are several confusing navigation elements that make using them too complicated. I’d be happy to show someone if I had the opportunity.
