Not worth it for me.
The app itself is a little buggy, but it works. I used this because there is a Wendy's on my way home from work, but I left my left wallet at home that day. It proved useful in that sense, however based on my personal experiences, this isn't any more convenient than just handing over your debit/credit card especially since none of the employees seem to have any clue what this app is or how to enter the information on the register. I had to put 10 dollars in as a minimum. First time I went, person had no clue what it was and called a manager who did. Second time, different person who had no clue, called over a manager, who also had no clue. I ended up just giving them my debit card to spare the hassle. This last time I just wanted to get rid of the balance, again the person had no clue. Luckily that same manager who knew from before happened to be there. Long story short, it can be useful in rare scenarios but in my personal experience it makes things less convenient because the employees are not being trained properly. Not the fault of the app, which is why I gave it 3 stars as it does what it is supposed to do...just a little buggy.
Not worth using!!
This app is stupid and NOT worth having on your iPhone. It only has a 4 item limit!!! What if you're ordering a meal for more than one person? What if you want a meal with more than 4 items (especially when drinks and side items count as one item EACH!!)? This app is not intuitive or easy to use. You have to "add money to your account" before you can order. This app is so frustrating that it is just easier to delete this app and go inside the restaurant an order the old fashion way! I was expecting this app to be wonderful, easy to use, and fun like the app for Five Guys. With the Five Guys app, you can easily order from wry intuitive menus, tell them when you're arriving, and ONLY charged for what you actually order. (You don't have to put money in any "account") Their app is not confusing at all and best of all, there is NO FOUR ITEM LIMIT!!!! Wendy's, you need to scrap this app and redesign a whole new app that makes sense! I'm so mad at this app, I'm not sure I ever want to go to a Wendy's again!! In contrast, because the Five Guys app is so well made, I actually go to Five Guys more often than I used to because I love their app! Get a clue, Wendy's!!
App of crap
This app is the reason we completely stopped going to Wendy’s. I clicked on an offer and showed the drive through employee but it only showed ... no number, just three dots. I show this to the drive through employees and they tell me (rudely, like a couple entitled smartasses) that I already used that offer. I said, What? No, I didn’t. It’s the first time I clicked on it or it wouldn’t have been there to click on because they Disappear after one click. But nope. I’m wrong. No food for me and I’m a liar because I “must have” used it already? Then how did I just CLICK ON IT??? These employees Still haven’t been clued in to their own businesses app and the app itself is Broken and customer service is incompetent. I was upset about being called a liar and customer service is telling me how to get my app working. F the app. It’s lost you plenty of business and that’s sad and stupid. What’s the deal?
UPDATE: I ALREADY CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY SAID THEY WOULD CONTACT THAT LOCATION AND THE MANAGEMENT AT THAT LOCATION WOULD GET IN TOUCH WITH ME AND MAKE IT RIGHT. BUT THAT WAS TWO WEEKS AGO. NO REPLY BY EMAIL OR THAT LOCATION.
