Perfect

I have never come across an app quite like this one. I don’t know too much about philosophy, and this app gives a perfect way to introduce yourself to the topic. All of the philosophers are listed with “tweet-like” quotes that make it easy to understand their main ideas. They also “reply” to other philosophers who have similar or opposing points. If you want to learn more about a particular philosopher, you can easily find links to a list of digital books and audio books. Many of them also seem to be open source! I am truly amazed that all of this is available for free. No option for in-app payments are even included in the app. The value of this app is amazing. I never write reviews, but considering the value and accessibility of this app, I figured it is the least I can do. Easiest 5 star rating ever.

Comprehensive and Intelligent

I’m new to philosophy. New to deeper thinking of any brand, really. I am also highly distractable in terms of interest. When I recently became interested in philosophy/ethics, I immediately downloaded this app and started exploring it.

I’m surprised and pleased to say that I absolutely love it. It also led me to the realization that the reason behind my distractability is one of accessibility. Many of my interests from the past are quite expensive. I think the reason that I’ve stuck with studying this particular topic is simply because this app has so much on offer. E-books, audio books, footnotes. You can learn at your own pace, entirely for free.

I started with Kant. One of the more difficult to understand. And I absolutely love it. This app has caused me to start thinking about philosophy and ethics myself. It has ignited a passion for knowledge in me. All because of the accessibility and comprehensive nature of the app.

And so with that, I would like to extend a sincere message of thanks to the creator of this informative and useful piece of software. Not only for those of us with a mild interest but for those of us who are deciding to pursue life’s fundamental truths ourselves.

Incredible value for curious intellectuals

I never write reviews for apps but this app has so much value. It includes a timeline, map, and database of some of the most significant thinkers in history including Frederick Nietzsche, Plato, Machiavelli, Henry David Thoreau, Carl Jung, etc. Not only does it include some of their best quotes which is accessible for all readers, but it includes entire databases of some of these famous philosopher’s most essential essays and books as entire audiobooks/ebooks. All for free!! The value and accessibility of this app is just insane and is perfect for someone like me that wants to learn more about the deeper complexities and questions of human existence. 5 stars all day.
