WFAA/Channel 8 Multiple Radars Are Second to None

I’ve looked at several weather radar sources, including my local CBS, NBC, and FOX News stations, also The Weather Channel, and the National Weather Service, and none of them even come close to Dallas’ WFAA/Channel 8 multiple radars on their website. Their coverage showing the entire state at once, and also the option of looking at any single area of the state, is absolutely second to none! And the different colors indicating different intensities within a storm, are vivid and clear, making it easy to discern each intensity level in the storm from the others. Kudos to Dallas WFAA/Channel 8!

Quality news, but ads are annoying and proofing needs work.

Now there are almost as many ads as there are relevant news stories. Please don’t start having them come on when we click a story where we must see some of the ad before we can skip the ad and go to the real news.

I use this app to view the news almost very morning and every night before going to sleep. I trust the information I get from it. However, most of the news categories have stories which belong in another area. Some stories stay for a week or more past their relevance. Surely, there is more real Texas news than what goes on in our area. I'd like to see news from around here the state.

Please proof read, folks. I know television news is oral, but if you're going to put it in print, then it should be proofread. Surely your reporters use better grammar than I see. In addition, proof reading is essential. Otherwise typos will become an accepted part of our writing.
Faithful reader.

Breaking news to whom?

I've only ever watched WFAA and consider them an amazing source of local news, but I finally deleted the app today because of the push alerts.
We don't consider updates on Zeke Elliot's suspension or the death of Hugh Hefner to be alert worthy. Seriously, an alert at 11pm to let us know Hef passed, not urgent! We've been sent more alerts about the Zeke Elliot suspension drama than the 3 year old missing in Richardson for a week.
I also agree with other reviewers that within the app the news is not updated and old stories linger for too long.
Pushing alerts about actual breaking news like inclement weather, major traffic delays, or anything that might impact my safety would be preferred.
