"Where Are My Students" is a powerful classroom utility designed by a 25 year veteran Elementary School Teacher.
Students come and go from the classroom . . . to the bathroom, special education, the nurse, office, doctors’ appointments and more, making it a challenge to remember who is where when.
"Where Are My Students" tracks these comings and goings with a simple tap on an iPhone, iPad or Mac. The App is so easy to use that even the youngest students can check themselves out and in should the teacher wish.
Enter your student names and optional photos; your own categories (Bathroom, Principal, Gifted Programs, etc.); make notes on the fly and setup your own timers and alarms. The App. is very user friendly and easy to customize.
Whenever a student is checked out of the room, a handy on-screen timer appears next to that student’s name. This is a huge help to teachers of all levels, elementary through high school, who want to track not only who is out of the room and where they are, but for how long they have been gone.
A complete reporting system will show how often Mary was in the Girl’s Room in October; Johnny was on family vacations; or Herb was at the nurse’s office. Print, E-Mail or Text Message the reports . . . even export them to spread sheets.
"Where Are My Students" is easy to use, reliable and indispensable in the modern classroom.

An Update is Required ASAP!
I can see the benefits of utilizing this app this school year; however, an update is required before I endorse it with faculty both at my school and within the district. As a high school teacher, this app needs to grant me the ability to create a roster for each block. Second, it would be nice to have the feature of emailing parents immediately rather than running a report end of day or week. Immediate feedback to parents helps reduce infractions based on my experiences. Third, an infraction feature should be included to reduce the number of reports a teacher will have to distribute to both parents and administrators. Merging multiple data under one app will not only save time but reduce headaches when interpreting information.
In conclusion, I will use this app this fall to avoid printing a manual sign in/out log (#SaveTrees), but I must have the app updated ASAP to separate my rosters accordingly. It will be a nightmare having a long roster consisting of seventy-two students. Having this feature will allow me to be proactive when examining data confirming the number of students walking the halls for each block.
Have potential, but the report (date and time) do not work properly. Please an update as soon as possible. In addition, it will be nice if I can create classes, roster, parent information, reporting to administrators, etc.
