Customer Reviews

❗️STILL a LIFE-CHANGING App❗️

This is actually my 2nd review! I wrote the 1st one in May 2016. What's strange is the I had just finished using Hiya, when I saw the option to review the app. I figured, "what the hell—I'll write another one since I still come across people who have never heard about it! How is this possible..., a free app (which happens to be my favorite), that is so helpful to those who use it—EVERYONE must have the same issue with calls (unless you happen to be one of the callers) :). So, off to the App Store I went! I couldn't believe that my original review was the first one at the top of the page!
Actually, I didn't bother looking below my review..., it could be that mine is the ONLY review.
Anyway, get the app—you will not regret it!

First, I'd like to say that I hate the new Name Change, "Hiya." However, the app is awesome, one of my favorites, and 100% FREE! I cannot think of even one negative thing to say about it! It's probably my most-used app AND it also has a widget that makes it even easier to use [not that it wasn't easy to begin with]!

Not sure how this works after I downloaded can anyone help please?!

I just downloaded this app. The only thing it asked is if it can have access to my contacts & doesn't give me any other information or settings even if I go into my settings & click on the app. Is this normal? Does this block messages as well I didn't see that anywhere. All the sudden somehow someway I just started getting like 10 spam calls a day when I've never had this issue before. I tell them I'm on the no call list, don't call back or try to reach me otherwise I'll turn them in. Usually I get hung up on before getting it all out, but this last time same place saying it's a government grant option for me by all foreign people calling & I'm not interested anyhow but she said they'll remove it, then I received a message right afterwards. I've never had these issues before & I'm looking for help to make sure I'm protecting my phone as best as possible. Thanks if anyone can help answer I'd really appreciate it.

I love it already!

Cringing every time my business phone rings is NOT the way I'm supposed to feel about incoming calls! I'm sure 8/10 calls I get each day are robocalls, and some of them are infuriating (like the one where the recording makes it sound like it's a real person fumbling with her headset 😡). I don't know why I let it bother me so much but there it is.

I saw the spot on TV the other night and had it installed minutes later. I went through the batch of calls from the previous few days and Hiya nailed them ALL as what they are (telemarketers/spam/demon spawn).

I anticipate a more relaxed response to calls from now on (it had gotten so bad that I was answering the phone in my best "whaddayawant??!!" voice - NOT what a potential client wants to hear but I was ready to be angry with every call).
