Who Uses My WiFi? (WUMW) Protect your network from intruders
By Variance srl
This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
Whether you're troubleshooting poor performance on your own wireless network, or you're trying to figure out how overloaded the hotel Wi-Fi is where you're staying, Who Uses My WiFi is the app that can show you exactly what the name implies.
Most of us have WiFi routers in our homes these days, and without the proper security, someone could easily hop onto your wireless network.
Who Uses My WiFi shows you exactly who is connected to your network and helps you create a safe password if you need to.
Nobody will ever steal your internet connection again!

Very nice app!
This app really gives you some great information about your wifi, or any wifi you might come in contact with. It shows you all the devices connected for each wifi, you then can rename them once you figure out which devise is which. I was surprised how many devises were on my wifi, the wifi printer, tablets, computers, the wifi tv, phones, iPad, etc. Once I figured out who's each device was who's (in my family) I could even tell who was home and connected in the middle of the night! We traveled to a near by town, pulled up to the library and could see all the devices connected to their wifi. Not particularly useful, but just kind of neat to see. I also realized I setup two wifi systems, but everyone was using just one wifi, so now I can split some devices up to spread the load. This is a good app, useful and relatively easy to use. You'll find yourself checking it from time to time.
Can rename devices
I don't often review apps but this app deserves a 5* review. Easy to use, consistent and reliable. My favorite part is that it allows you to rename your devices so they make sense to you. I, and I am sure many others, have a lot of devices and this app makes it easy to recognize them by being able to rename. I've used similar apps that only have the device's MAC address - which gives you the extra task of having to verify each MAC address and then you have to commit to memory each time you check your network. Keeping track of who's using your wifi is smart and this app certainly makes it super easy
This app seems to accurately identify devices that are "typically" connected to my wifi, HOWEVER the "refresh" only works at its own will and therefore I don't know which devices are REALLY connected. This has especially made it a challenge for me to initially identify each app since my iPad doesn't appear connected even when I'm actively using it, and my roommate's cell phone appears to be connected for hours after he has left for work. As of now, the last update was 9 hours ago and I cannot make it refresh. There is still one device that I cannot identify, and since I'm unable to time it to any person's actual comings and goings, it's hopeless. And it has no name.
