Description
The WholeSlide iPad app was developed to enable rapid access and rich interaction with large (1 gigapixel + ) wholeslide images hosted online. The app allows users to natively zoom into a wealth of image types: from neuroanatomy and developmental biology to pathology and histology resources.
Designed for Research and Educational purposes only. Not approved for clinical use.

Very good app
I only need the rattus sections to teach undergraduates a cross section of the rat brain. This is the largest collection of coronal sections available for free. The sections are clear, similar in size and traverse a large cross section of the brain. It would be helpful to have more sections represented and to have the sections include Bregma coordinates. However, this app is complete and extremely helpful for teaching purposes.
