“Whoowasit?” is the digital adaptation of the “Children’s game of the Year 2008” by the successful author Reiner Knizia. Now the fun tactical adventure full of mystery and magic is finally available on iPhone and iPad!
The king’s castle is in danger! The evil wizard has been seen near the kingdom. Only the king’s magical ring can protect the castle, but it has disappeared. Can you find the thief?
The children of the castle are the last hope. The animals have seen the thief: they want to help to catch him in order to get back the ring, and only the children can talk to them and understand them. A sharp eye and deduction skills are needed to solve this puzzle, as only together can the children track down the thief!
Careful thinking, strong team play and working closely together are necessary for the small detectives to reach their goal. But watch out for the ghost! Can the kingdom be saved on time from the evil magician?

My daughter loved the game so much she was always asking if we could take it with us for days out. This solves the problem. She can now play it anywhere. I do wish the ghost and fairy would be more random. I know off by heart what order they're going to say things now. Other than that it's great.
One Of The Best Cooperative Games!
My 11-year old daughter and I (Dad) LOVE this game! This game is great for adults too. Please add MULTIPLAYER ONLINE through Game Center with audio and text CHAT (to cooperate and work together as a team), including turn-based and synchronous multiplayer options.
I love that this game is cooperative, as opposed to competitive. In other words, all the players work together to save the kingdom. I have to say, it's been several days and I play this game almost every day… sometimes by myself! And I am the dad! What a great game! This and GHOST STORIES are my favorite cooperative board games.
There is constant excitement in the game because you need to talk to animals to find clues as to what the thief looks like, but, to do so, you need to find the fruit that the particular animal eats...and this changes each game! And, each game, the fruit is hidden in different rooms! All the while, a ghost floats from room to room and the clock is clicking down to 6 o'clock...the time by when you need to have found the stolen ring. The ring is hidden in a chest and there are chests in each room with a character's face on it...learn who the thief is after speaking to the animals for clues and then open the chest with that person's picture on it!
There are secret doors, traps, a raven that steals your food items, magic, fairies, nice animations, great graphics, excitement and tension, laughter and nice voice-overs for the talking animals. There are three different difficulties and there are (I believe) 10 rings to collect. There are also game achievements that you unlock. There is SO much to this fantastic game! I can't say enough good things about it.
Whether you are with friends or family, you'll best best be served by working TOGETHER. Work together in searching for food, talking to animals, finding keys, unlocking doors and finding secret switches. It truly makes working together something that brings people together and to enjoy the time in doing so.
My wife and daughter liked it so much that they each downloaded it on their iPads also in case they wanted to play and no one else was around. If you're alone, you can play with computer characters on your team and/or you can control more than one character (up to four). Even the interface is brilliant. For example, if there are four players around the iPad, you can select an option where the BOARD turns to face the player whose turn it is...no spinning of the iPad is necessary!
I honestly don't know why this game isn't in the top of the top charts...this game is great! The game itself is sheer genius, and the app delivers the board game faithfully and does so fantastically. A marketing suggestion to the developers is to NOT categorize this as a game for 6 to 8 year olds! This game is challenging for older kids and adults. Perhaps people avoid this thinking it's a "kid's game" when it clearly is not just for kids. In any case, I'm sure other families would enjoy this game as much as ours, so I hope the product becomes more discovered than what it is currently.
