Great but not really optimized for iPad
I have been using this app for about 4 years from blackberry, iPhone and not to iPad. So far it has served me really well by giving very easy to read, quick and basic info on how I am doing and what's going on in the market. Really great for beginners and daily traders alike. The only problem I have with this version is that it really isn't optimized for iPad, you can tell it was really built for the iPhone and then just built off of that. The charts are clear on the iPhone but pixelated on the iPad, the retina display and screen real estate isn't taken advantage of like it should be.
Great app overall just not as good looking as it could be.
iphone 5 neglected, what else?
I do not trust that Wikinvest is a secure site anymore, at almost a year after the release of the iphone 5, there has still not been an update to the iphone app to fit the larger screen. This to me displays neglect. If a service is offered, it should be kept up-to-date. More importantly however, if a small thing like a smartphone app is being neglected, what other components of the service could be getting neglected, security? While this is unlikely, I cannot in good faith continue to use the service.
It's great but severely lacking
Great for just a basic glance at portfolio performance at the end of day ... but nothing more.
Clumsy and slow to drill into any one stock. No way to see portfolio performance graphs like on web. Trim it down, make it snappy. No way to really see anything beyond present day status. Clumsy to view anything other than your portfolio. No way to sort or see more than current price and change at a glance.
Definitely still need to use Yahoo app to supplement.
