What's New in Version 2.6
+ Now Universal (iPhone + iPad) Application
+ Faster App Download and Smaller Storage Footprint
Update: as of this date, this app does not work. I contacted the seller and it seems they don't care. It won't load on my iPad Pro, iPad Air or iPhone properly. Be warned. If it's the sep 2016 update it probably won't work. I don't see them fixing it. If they do I will update the review.
I bought this based on the one review. This app gives an error message over and over saying the domain is not valid when it try's to download the database. Nothing works without this.
I tried to get it to download for an entire day, even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it several times. The app does have a "reload" the database option in case of error. Like this may be common.
As of now it's just a waste of money. I will be requesting a refund. I tried to contact the seller with no luck..
Steve Brill is an incredible guy and forager. This application is a great way to learn to identify plants in an area and use them to make recipes, psych out friends, and just enjoying nature.
Don't forget to take a tour, it's a great a"experience. He is hilarious!
