Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
The easiest way to see live music. We scour San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York for the bands, DJs, and dance nights that should be on your radar and make it easy for you to get in with just a tap or two.
Named Hottest Startup of 2013 alongside Homejoy + Coinbase by Forbes. As seen in Billboard, SPIN, TechCrunch, and Fast Company (but the place we really want to be seen is on your phone).
Here's how it works:
We curate the best shows in your city...
We measure the success of WillCall on the dance floor, so we vet every event through a sequence of super complicated formulas we call the "party town index” … Okay, not really, but we do put a lot of love into the WillCall list for you.
...and make it seriously easy to buy concert tickets.
Just a few taps and you’re done. It’s crazy easy. You can also give and receive tickets right through the app, because sharing is caring and all that.
Plus, there are all kinds of social bells and whistles...
You can see when your friends are going (or thinking about going) to any WillCall show, so you're always in the loop.
…and a whole bunch of in-show features.
The concert experience doesn’t stop after you get through the door, which is why we let you tip your favorite artists and bands, and purchase drinks and merch at select events.
Some smart people have said some really nice things about us:
▸ "An Uber for nightlife." - TechCrunch
▸ "The app equivalent of being friends with someone who works at a record store and knows way too much about music." - UrbanDaddy
▸ "If you follow the app's advice and actually attend a show, it opens up even more possibilities. Want to tip the band or buy a t-shirt? WillCall does that too." - SPIN
▸ “The design and experience is absolutely stellar. They have all the best shows on short notice, and you never have to print a ticket.”
▸ “I use this app multiple times a week to find awesome shows. WillCall never fails me! Definite life upgrade.”
▸ “These guys have great taste in music. Featured shows are pretty much guaranteed to be awesome.”
▸ “I love being notified when my friends are headed to shows. Makes meeting up on any given night an easy affair. If you like music, get it now.”

What's New in Version 2.3.2
Dude best events listed in SF, LA, and NY. Yes, I definitely used it when I visited NY and it was the best night ever. Service is super quick, name on the guest list and everything. They also do PDF tickets which is cool cause the ticket pops right up in the app- don't have to remember to print them which is a super plus for forgetful me. Be careful though cause if you don't see your PDF ticket in the app you may not actually have that ticket for the show, but if you email them they are actually responsive and helpful.
Cool idea but poor implementation
First let me say people are idiots. The description clearly specifies this app only works if you live in LA, SF or NYC. Giving it a 1 star review because it's not available in your city is plain stupid.
After playing with the app for a little bit, there are so very obvious issues with it:
• Ask for notifications on first launch. This practice is old and annoying
• Request location access when Always and not just When in use. The explanation is for better notifications but it's not clear if it's to identify when you switch cities or for better notifications within a city.
• Bugs. The nav bar disappeared and I couldn't go back.
Also got stuck when tapped connect to fb and then ca called. App froze and eventually crashed.
The design is interesting. It feels intuitive until you start tapping and the app does not behave as you would expect.
I'm in LA and there's only 4 shows the app let me see. Can't imagine that's all LA has to offer.
This app made me miss a concert in LA after driving 2 hours to the venue confident that I had tickets from my purchase the night before, got a last minute email saying my order couldn't be processed, no tickets for me. Be careful using this service!
