Sort of a minimalist's Kid Icarus. Simply tap to fly. Doing so, you'll collect coins to enhance your abilities and slay whatever monster you happen to run into. You lose health as you run into monsters, but so do they.
Up to level ten, it uses an advancement system to keep players coming back. While the gameplay is simple, it never really pans out into thing. The single soundtrack is incredibly short and endlessly loops. The old-school charm is there, yes, but it definitely could be more substantial.
I just beat this actually (Level 102, with 999 attack and defense) and I must say, I enjoyed it. Something about the endless leveling and upgrading spoke to my inner urges to constantly level. While that part was fun, the game needs more music tracks, a save feature, and to fix a bug where the sword remains blue after a while. All in all it's a fun game, but it needs more to be truly great.
Wonderful old school fun
I had a blast with this game, the premise is super simple yet super addictive. If you're looking for a retro classic kind of game, then you've stumbled on to this gem!
