My social home 😍🔮💙✨
This app hands down provides the best outlet for expressing your mysticism and connecting with like minded people in this respect. When you make a blog post you can change the background picture, add gifs, and make it as creative as possible. You can literally make a show and tell for your tools, or create polls, join discussions, see other people's profiles and adorn your own to make it super unique and personal... there is sooo much to do! I have to tear myself away because it's very easy to get lost for hours!!
The only thing I wish the app had is quick statuses instead of just those mood bubbles you have to unlock. I want to be able to see how others are doing each day in a nutshell, and be able to announce my own overall day. I also want to be able to find users who have posted similar things to my own, since there are so many members and it's overwhelming to find out which members to favorite. Like, let's say I post a blog about water witchcraft. I want to be able to see who else posted similar things based on the app finding the same keywords and phrases used by other members. I also want to be able to incorporate songs into my profile the way you can do this on Tumblr.
Overall though, best social app ever!
I got this app because Harmony Nice recommended it. At first I enjoyed this app immensely, checking in every day and posting featured posts and answering questions. I enjoy posting about plants and Oghams and full moon rituals and such. Then I started seeing dark curse after dark curse being featured and sending me notifications, which I am not interested in. I proceeded to ask the community about karma, meaning if anyone thought this negative energy might come back to them. I proceeded to receive some very insightful and intelligent comments, but also very mean comments saying that I was pushing my own agenda onto others, one of the curators who was especially mean and rude. Needless to say I haven't posted on it since. I can't believe they made that guy a curator. On the odd occasion that I do try to open the app it automatically takes me right to the community guidelines page, which just reminds me how many bully's are on the app. No wonder people have such fear about witches, some witches have truly ill intentions and want to harm you. I don't even know if I want to call myself one anymore. I have switched to the pagans & witches amino app because the people are much more well informed and amiable. (Looks like Harmony Nice has switched over to this one as well).
It’s a nice app
I do like this app a lot, and the guidelines aren’t that bad in my opinion. But I also don’t usually post, so I don’t have to worry about them much. A lot of the people are really nice and welcoming, and I’ve had nice little chats with others to share and discuss information, which is the main reason i downloaded it in the first place. It’s a little difficult to navigate, I think, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out eventually. I like seeing all of the different paths that people are taking, I love seeing people so interested in learning new things. I’ve even been asked for advice on how to get started in the craft and it makes me feel good to be helpful to someone. Just remember that there are witches of different religions and paths and you might not agree with them, but you also don’t have to read their posts or follow what they do.
