But you probably don't know what is a good time of the random couplet of thrusters and burpees your class is doing today.
Here comes the WOD Time Calculator to help you answer that question!

WOD Time Calculator lets you calculate good time or score to beat of any random CrossFit style workout.

There are multiple fitness level categories that will help you determine how good your score is or how good you will be when you beat that time or score to beat.
The fitness level range from 0 to 100. The number tells you how many percents of people you have beaten with that score.
There are also multiple categories that reflect different fitness levels like beginner, average, advanced, elite and regional (super elite) athlete. This means that you can get a good time or score to beat for you WOD no matter how good you are in the CrossFit.

The WOD Time Calculator also features an innovative way to enter the CrossFit workouts. At first, you select the type of the workout like for time, for time with different reps (e.g. 21-15-9), classic AMRAP, AMRAP with increasing or max reps. Then you keep adding movements until your workout is ready.

The app offers over 200 different movements ranging from classic CrossFit and weightlifting movements like clean and jerks or thrusters to very specific movements like a trail run, double dumbbell hang squat snatch or yoke carry.

You can easily filter through all movements with quick categories or use the built-in search function. By the way, you can just type HSPU for handstand push ups, FSQ for front squats and much more.

When you enter the WOD just confirm it and the app will give you a good time or score to beat. You can easily adjust the fitness level depending on how good you are with a slider to find out what is a good time or score to beat for you. Or you can do the workout first and then check out how good you were by finding out the fitness level for your time, the fitness level will tell you how many percents of the people you have beaten.

Easily could be a 5 star app

It looks like this is a new app and the kinks are being worked out.

I’d like to remind the developers that a beginner at crossfit can’t even do some of these moves, and that I think the algorithms are a little too aggressive for the average crossfitter. The way the app is structured, it appears that the numbers could be easily seen as percentiles of the average athlete. I usually will finish in the middle of the pack at a gym but the app has me at a low beginner level. When I look at the beginners, they’re scaling everything, sometimes down to the barbell.

Thanks for the feedback.

Right now, the app doesn’t consider number of people who will scale the workout. It just give you percentile from all people who are able to do the workout RX.

I will have a look at how data is interpreted and try to avoid this confusion among new users.

Different from website

This is one of my favorite tools to gauge a WOD, but the website and the app give very different information. The website is definitely more accurate to fitness levels than the app. I will re-download the app once the calibration is fix, but until then the website is my go-to.

Need calibrating

Love the premise and interface: SUCH a cool idea. I feel like it could be improved by adding age and gender qualifiers. Even then, feel that some of the algorithms of calculations are just way off: giving people that I know are top 10 athletes in our state scores of fitness level zero on workouts they actually crushed.

There may be a bug in some kind of WOD format or in the specific movement. I wish I could know the specific information about the workout, as I will test in and correct it.
