You are a two-year old gray wolf born in the Northern Range of Yellowstone National Park. You learned the ways of the wolf in your birth pack. Now it's time for you to learn how to live on your own, finding food, meeting other wolves, and searching for a mate. Ultimately, your goal is to find a home and build your own family.

The free game features Amethyst Mountain, the first level of the game where you can explore Yellowstone's wilderness, hunt elk, communicate with other wolves, and find a mate.

The full game features the Slough Creek map where you find a den, establish a territory, and raise pups. It also includes co-op multilplayer and an additional map, Lost River. Extra wolf customizations are also available as additional in-app purchases.

* iPhone 5 or newer.
* iPad Air or newer.
* iPad Mini 2 or newer.

Your quest begins on the slopes of Amethyst Mountain and eventually takes you across the Lamar Valley to Slough Creek. There, you and your mate will establish a territory and raise a litter of pups: training them, feeding them, defending them against predators, and finally taking them on a cross-country journey to a summer home. Ultimately, your success will depend on your ability to ensure the survival of your pack.

In single-player games, learn how to hunt elk, communicate with other wolves, find a mate, establish a den and territory, raise pups, and embark on a perilous journey to a summering site.

In multiplayer games, explore the wilderness and hunt elk together, and now raise pups together! This new version features the entire Slough Creek mission arc, from choosing a den to raising pups and traveling to the rendezvous site. There are two types of multiplayer games:
* Private games: Invite-only, featuring voice, text, and phrase chat.
* Public games: Anyone can join, phrase chat or (for players age 13 and up) text chat.

Customer Reviews

Still awesome, buuut....

...Please please PLEASE add a free camera mode rather than keeping it locked behind the wolf.. That's literally all I am asking for right now. Please make it an option to turn the camera around and get better screenshots of my wolf as I play. It's always locked on so I'm always looking at my wolf's behind. And it gets so boring because I'd really love to capture better screenshots of my wolf standing in beautiful scenery, and in action! Also, maybe since there's not really much point in the "stalking" action, could you just replace that with just normal walking, or at least ADD a walking option? So far all we can do is stalk, trot, and run. That's not too important to me at the moment, but it was another suggestion I thought should be put out there. What's most important to me is the camera modes. So please add that. I'd greatly appreciate it!

Please consider...

I know there are a lot of reviews, and I love this game! One thing you guys should add is other animals to hunt like whitetail deer and such. Another thing other games don't include is this; the player could start as a pup and be taught things by the pack(like the mother teaching care, or alpha teaching hunting) and then we grow older and leave the pack, and that is where the game there is now starts. Again, I love this game but those are something's to make it better! I think others would enjoy a little backstory for the wolf they are playing.
Thank you for reading,
P.S. Many people, including me, would like the pups to grow up!

Problems and Ideas

So my game quality is on Fantastic but my wolves aren't detailed only NPC wolves looked detailed, the elk are getting faster glitching from one spot to another, it decides to crash each time I died.

Maybe players should be able to edit their mate's stats, having NPC mates in multiplayer, maybe more furs, and humans. I know that this would be a lot of work but please. More eye colors, being able to have stranger wolf territories in multiplayer.

I hope the smooth wolf bug gets fixed I really don't like it, it bothers me. Please please PLEASE fix the quality bug. I wanna enjoy this game in its wonderful details
