I am into photo hunt games. I am also into puzzle games. (actually, I love every genre - the only games I don't play are 'Hockey') Women's Murder Club turned out to be an awesome game. The photorealistic artwork is not only incredible, it makes photo hunting very pleasant. I knew from the moment I started playing it that it is quality. I-Play puts their name on mostly wonderful games. (I have purchased a lot of their games) It's not just the photo hunting which is great, but there are puzzles, tools, and clues that will really get your mind going. Every now and then I got stumped, but never in a frustrating way. I haven't finished the game yet, so I plan to come back and write more when I do. At this point, I can truly recommend this game, no doubt about it! (And don't let the title fool you - It's not a game that's just for women!)
Good Concept, Too Easy, Short Game
I like the concept of gathering clues to solve a murder. The graphics are terrific. It's enjoyable lite fun. But, the scenes are repetitive. Not only do you visit the same scenes several times, which would be ok, except most of the hidden objects in the find list are the same each time you visit the scene. Some of the hidden objects have no relationship to the scene. And, the names in the find list don't exactly match what the hidden objects are, so you have think "out of the box" while searching. It makes you wonder if English is the writer's first language or maybe a Brit. Curious since the scene is San Francisco. The plot of the story seems a little scattered and winds up too quickly. Overall, the game lacks variety and doesn't require much skill from the player, but it's fun enough to play.
This game tool me about 2-3 hours to complete! Wayyyyy too short for the price! I really had high hopes for this game and was let down in so many ways. It's very repetative, the controls need to be tweeked a little more, needs to have more interaction when finding objects like mixing solutions, would be nice if in the night scenes u could use a flashlight and u can only see a small area at a time with the flashlight, needs more then 1 mystery to solve, would be nice if it actually included all the scenes from the online game, and the ending was a huge disappointment!
Developers: plz read the reviews for this game and improve accordanly. I absolutly would love to see this game improved and will adjust my star rating for this game accordanly.
