What's New in Version 3.6.4
• Manage your account settings directly in the app (We can’t believe we didn’t have this before)
• You can marvel at all the crap in your "Stuff you bought" page. (Another no-brainer)
• Browse ratings and reviews (without opening up a browser, duh)
• Added a Support queue so you can pester Customer Service directly (please don’t, tho)
• Added Pumpkin Spice scent when you open the app
• Took out spiders
Terrible 1st experience with app
Woot had an app-only exclusive so I decided to download the app. I clicked on the item right at the time of release as it appeared on the “featured” list. The app showed a “loading” icon which went on for several minutes. After a while, the loading icon disappeared and I was left with a blank white page. I clicked back to the main featured list and clicked on the item again...blank page again. I did this for about 10 minutes and finally, the page loads telling me that the app exclusive item sold out. FAIL! It almost felt like I was getting trolled by their mischievous monkey mascots. :(
Can’t handle its own popularity
The app falls over whenever you have things like the Appsclusive sale of the NES Classic Mini. You’ll be treated to tapping the table view, watching a spinner for minutes, see server crash message after server crash message, and eventually load a page saying the Appsclusive product is sold out within those minutes of spinner.
Would not use again.
Doesn’t load product pages, useless...
If the point of the app is to making buying discounted products easier, it fails gloriously. Product pages don’t load, ESPECIALLY when it’s a half decent item. You’re better off thinking REALLY hard about the item until it magically appears in front on you than you are using this crap app.
