How does WordDive work?
Learning with WordDive is based on the WordDive Method, created by dozens of language learning experts, engineers, psychologists and user interface developers. It utilises multiple senses for learning: you will learn Spanish, English or another language of your choice by listening, reading, looking at pictures, writing and speaking.
WordDive also optimises learning pace and study items individually for you. This means you will really remember the words and grammar you have learned permanently. Permanent learning frees you to have fluent conversations in your new language. Words will come out naturally, and you won't have to struggle to remember a specific word.
Who can benefit from WordDive?
WordDive is suitable for anyone: child or adult, beginner or advanced. Whether you want to learn the basics of Spanish or French for a trip abroad or hone your English skills for work, WordDive is the right choice. Students preparing for matriculation exams have also improved their results with WordDive. In other words, just set your goal – whether it's the basics or higher level skills – and WordDive can help you.
Our courses are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is a widely known skill level scale for foreign languages. With WordDive, you can keep track of your progress and collect trophies in real time. WordDive will also remember your progress – when you change to another iOS device or a computer, you can pick up from where you left off.

Ratings and Reviews
I’m using this application to learn Estonian. It’s gamified enough to keep things interesting, but not so much that I feel inspired to cheat or overly frustrated if I get something wrong. The words in the basic (numbered) lessons seem random, but I was surprised how much I used and recognized when I went to Estonia.
The app is aquatic-themed. It works by showing you a picture and a hint in Estonian, which can be tapped to show a direct translation in English. From there, you choose the word that matches the image, then move to spelling it out. Once you do this correctly enough times (and over a sufficient period of time) the app rewards you with a “master” fish rating on that word. Once you’ve mastered enough words, the lesson is considered completed.
There is no direct discussion of grammar rules, at least not as of lesson 3. They have to be derived from the examples of the words used in a sentence. This can be confusing at first, with some words changing dramatically in context, but it gets simpler with practice.
I wish I could change the name I entered, though. Be aware that you will get emailed certificates for each level you pass, so if you add a tag to your name for filtering purposes, it will show up on the certificates too.
And it makes learning easy. The sound works when you put your headphones, in which makes sense,
Platforms do not communicate
I purchased access to Swedish on my laptop and yet it is not accessible on the app. When I tried to send a message through the app the message would not send and the app would crash.
The concept is great on a browser but until the app is better it is not recommended to use it.
