Ratings and Reviews

Interesting idea, but not well suited for professional use.

"Lorem ipsum" has long been a staple for designers and developers, and for good reason. It's natural looking, and stakeholders look beyond the content itself to the layout and other featured aspects of the design/application. When any sort of familiar language is included in design-comps, people who are used to critiquing content are drawn to it, even if it is only a placeholder (frustrating but commonplace.)

This app generates truly random text that is both strange and distracting. Here's a sample of returned text.

"Distinction is ignored by genetic reason in university poverty chic wrinkled my children s, system and rita folded. Blanked and discovered how you woke up abruptly and helps it offstage dan nearly. Always assume that our core audience participated urged on, cooperation they insisted that stands between gene would lay down here is, seldom, evolves by over numb, and commercial purposes as, medawar himself."

While this might suffice for internal development, Lorem ipsum is far superior for professional use (in my opinion anyhow.) This app would be infinitely more useful if there were a lorem ipsum option (perhaps augmented by translations of lorem ipsum into English if the language is important.)

This app has potential, but is not yet ready for prime time.

Simple, easy to use... die lorum die!

Neat tool for web developers, i finally don't have to google Lorum Ipsum everytime i'm testing... now all i have to do is doubleclick a small icon and some random meaningful text is copied to my clipboard.

Works in only some applications

I'm not able to get the application to work with MS Word 2011. It does work and works great with BBEdit.

I was a little disappoints. However, when it works, it does a great job.
