Description

Workflow is your personal automation tool, enabling you to drag and drop any combination of actions to create powerful workflows for your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

Workflow includes over 200 actions, including those for Contacts, Calendar, Maps, Music, Photos, Camera, Reminders, Safari, AirDrop, Twitter, Facebook, Dropbox, Evernote, iCloud Drive, and Health, to name a few.

For example, you can use Workflow to:
* Make animated GIFs
* Add a home screen icon that calls a loved one
* Make PDFs from Safari or any app with a share sheet
* Get directions to the nearest coffee shop in one tap
* Tweet the song you're listening to
* Get all of the images on a web page
* Send a message including the last screenshot you took
* And so much more...

Your workflow creations can be launched from inside the Workflow app, from other apps using Workflow's Action Extension, or from our new lightning-fast Today Widget. You can even export a workflow as a standalone app on your home screen.

Workflow opens up infinite possibilities of what you can do with your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. But this is just the beginning. Stay tuned.

Amazing & powerful

I've already made workflows to mass delete any number of photos from my camera roll and also get latitude & longitude from Apple Maps. I also used it with regex to scrape PDFs that were containerized in JavaScript AJAX stuff which prevented downloading Of said PDFs the normal way. Oh and I created an MPG logger so I can track performance of my vehicles using a CSV text file on Dropbox. I can't wait to develop more useful workflows. I'm so very happy this functionality all takes place CLIENT SIDE and not server side like If This Then That. I use this app to fetch evapotranspiration rate of the day before from a State website using JASON.

So happy Apple is still maintaining this app!

Makes life sooo much easier

I have workflows set up for several business purposes. The most frequently used is to set an appointment. I have the app ask me how long the appt will be and pull the contact info, from there it fills in everything else. (Except inviting the client via email, that is manual FEATURE REQUEST).

I also use it to send a copy of my schedule to interns, so they know what times to be available.

I can trigger a favorite playlist.

I also use it to set reminders for notes I need to write and charges that need to be posted based on each appointment.

Saves me hours each week. I know there is so much more you can do, but I find it most useful for work.

Happy for others -- mystery to me

While I am genuinely happy -- really -- that people find this app helpful, I've yet to come on a single day-to-day use, try as I might, and just now once again. Pretty tech savvy, pretty smart guy; but the app is not very helpful if you have zero social media; you studiously avoid the world's biggest advertising company (Google) as much as possible; you're not a picture taker; read hard copies from your library; avoid where possible the IoT; and so on. It always feels like extra steps rather than fewer steps. Yaaa to the developers though.
