It's okay. 3.5 stars
But I'd have to agree the difficulty is nice in that you don't waste time on pointless levels but the degree to which they more difficult is questionable. I'm certainly not a genius but a bit above average iq. Still at level 10ish or so I find my frustration to the point of game deletion. I think a hint system is needed. Also the new icon. Red? Huh, the worm that gets you to next level is blue. Red worm with angry face equals or associates at least to me frustration. This colors how I view game when a solution seems impossible. I think I see what you ate attempting to accomplish by trying to find enough earnest, obsessive drive to enhance a players game experience but it is a fail for me. All you manage to do amp frustration at game leaving little choice but to quit game and consider deletion as I hate to skip levels.
Anyhow, if you read user reviews consider hint system and more story or change to happy worm otherwise you just make confusion as to why red worm the mascot.
Wriggle is an extremely fun app, particularly for people who love logic types of puzzles. The graphics are top notch although the Wriggle bugs could be a bit more appealing. Overall, highly recommended puzzle app created in part by Tom Jolly, a well known, creative inventor of all types of puzzles. I hope to see more apps from him.
